Thoughts on relegation

Interesting few weeks coming up. Riverside look a cut above but finals are a different kettle of fish so any of the top 5 winning it wouldn't suprise
 
Who gets the last spot in the finals?
Macleod or Bundoora?
Macleod in the drivers seat but have a tough finish.
Bundoora might only need to win 1 game to get in
 
God there stupid rules in DVCA cricket. Why the hell don’t games on day one play til 6.30pm. Too many games stopped at 5.00pm with 10-20 overs to go. Ridiculous.

With 90 minutes of sunny weather going to waste.

We in the lower grade decided we would play our overs. We just kissed afternoon tea. We ended up getting our overs in by 5.00pm

Rules should be there to ensure the maximum number of overs are played in the day.

PS how cold was it today. Definitely a two jumper day.

Clubs will whinge, but will anyone put it in writing? Doubtful

Comp doesn’t need clubs to help them make commonsense decisions. The DVCA has enough people with cricket knowledge to see that those games that were still playing at 5.00pm could have gone for another 90 minutes to get their overs in.

Yes, the scorer that was using the IPad should have used the “Actions..” button in the bottom right of the scoring screen and either applied “stumps” to close day one, or entered “Break” then “Rain Delay”.

Big game in Money as well - relegation battle between Lower Eltham and Greensborough. Could Lower Eltham find themselves in Mash and dare I say, there for a while ?

Research need to pull a rabbit out of a hat as well.
