Bat Selection

need a new bat

Considering either A GM ICON DXM 606 - GCCC says its 1st grade willow but im not sure if that would be any good because the 606 is a lower make compared to the Original which is also '1st grade' ($300)

or

An imported indian bat.
1st grade for about 220. thick edges

suggestions?

If I recall correctly, all of the 606 in the GM Range is Grade 3 English Willow. The 808 is Grade 2; the 909 Grade 1 and the Original Grade 1+/Test quality or something.

I used to have a GM Purist 606, and it saw me out for two years quite well, although I wasn't much of a batsman. I now have the GM Catalyst 808 and I love it.
