Re: Battrick - Season 11 Chat

Re: Battrick - Season 11 Chat

Great news,

Got my battrick team, they sent me my password, now whenever I try and login it says its incorrect password.

Re: Battrick - Season 11 Chat

Do we get trainees on the transfer market, if so I could only find one that fits your criteria Jonesy.

Re: Battrick - Season 11 Chat

Use the transfer market.

However, at the moment I'd be tempted to say save your money until next season, unless you can find some cheap players with a something like med stamina/respectable primary/med secondary.

With all the changes announced for next season though it might be an idea to hold fire.

Re: Battrick - Season 11 Chat

I accidentally spent too much on the Pavillion, my bad, should of looked at my finances but oh well.

Re: Battrick - Season 11 Chat

won my ODer and should win my FC match this week. already out of the cup so I played some scrubs. should get a concentration pop for my stud batsman this week as well.

Re: Battrick - Season 11 Chat

no pop for my batter but my bowling trainee popped to exceptional concentration to go with his exceptional bowling :)

Playing My first, First Class match at the moment, Haldane made 62 and we were bowled out for 125, with the other team at like 1/50, looks like we're in trouble.

About £50,000 per week for the first 7 weeks.

I wouldn't worry too much. Use this season as a learning curve.

How do you know whether they are definitely a batsman or bowler?

From the other thread...

Batsman rely on Batting and Concentration

Bowlers need Bowling and Consistency

Wicket Keepers need Keeping and a bit of both Consistency & Concentration (ideally), most people tend to train up batsman keepers though.

Stamina is very important to all players.

when I trained my keeper he was getting batting, keeping, fielding, and stamina sessions. The concentration helps a lot when he is behind the stumps and also with batting. The wicketkeeping session along with the fielding session also makes the seconadries (concentration and consistency) go up super fast. Of course with a batting session the concentration will go up super fast but you'll get the odd consistency pop as well.

Stamina is important. I've got 8 of my first teamers at superb, with 1 at strong and another at competent getting trained up to superb. It really helps out the bowlers to be able to recover quicker if they are going to bowling in FC and OD matches every week.
