One change - The Flamin' Mongrel will be on the protected list, while Blizzard will be going into the draft.

That's a good basis for our team. Let's hope we can recruit a few guys to make it even better

So we have 3 of 4 teams in now, the only ones dragging their feet are the Magpies. I still have no captain confirmed for them either. C'mon Maggies, don't do this to me. If noone comes forward, I suppose I will have to take control of the team in the interim, until leadership can be found.

Hold the phone on the captain of the Maggies, we have a late runner for all the biccies, let's hope he takes it and runs the ship upright again, all will be revealed soon

I'm hopeful we will attempt to pick up Guru again, make that one of your aims Youngy, he's a good bat and poster.

We've waited as long as we can at this point. The draft is in less than 24 hours, and I still have no word from the Magpies other than Armageddon* saying he will not be captaining. As such, I am taking control of the team in the interim, until a captain is sorted out. If they get their name in before the draft, they can change the protected list I put up. If not, they will have to live with what they get. I just don't think it's fair for the 3 teams that are ready to go to have to wait for the 1 that isn't.

That being said, here is the protected list for the Magpies:

Aramgeddon* - Batsman: LHB
Yash - Batsman: RHB
Therbs - Pure allrounder: RF/RHB
RAO - Bowler: RF (rhb)
cameron - Batsman: RHB
Pie 4 Life - Wicketkeeper: RHB
catcozmo - Bowler: RF (lhb)

If anyone wants to jump in and be the captain, now would be the time. The draft will go at 12:01 am GMT on Saturday. That is 7:01 Friday night in the Eastern Time Zone of North America, 12:01 Saturday morning in England, and mid-morning depending what part of Australia you are in. I will post further details in a dedicated draft thread very soon.

That is one of my aims - Actually, Coper hasn't been sighted for a long time ..is it possible for me to change Coper for Guru ? If so cheers Willi, if not, i'll look to pick you up in the draft Guru

Seeing as RAO no longer wants to be on the magpies side and Yash is no longer at the site, maybe those two shouldn't be on their squad?
