here's what i was thinking regarding the drafting game/long term fantasy league.

We get four people ie. Guru, Ljp, SouthSwans and myself to draft a squad of around 15. Instead of just drafting internationals we could draft people that want to be involved ie. carn tigez, weapons, pigeon fan etc... Then when new people want to sign up we can replace the international players in the squad with the new players. Hopefully by the end of the season all the teams would be full of posting people and there would be no need for the internationals anymore.

Good idea or bad?

Yeah sounds alright. If we are going to do it like that the guys that have shown interest will need to be drafted first. say each side will get 3 posters and then its the responsiblity of everyone to spread the word to get more players over to the site.

Wait till what Ljp has to say on the matter.

Personally I am happy to see the four captains as:

SS
Jollo
carn_tigez
weapons

me and ljp have plenty on our plate and i reckon giving it to you guys will encourage more people on the site and more off the site to come on and give it a crack

Hoping to see people like Chandu, el-capitano, kram and aussieman down here as well. Get all the big names out of the closet and playing this great game.

well i thought we were going to do the bigcricket XI games first then the 4 teams competition. But if you think it would be best to ditch the BigCricket XI games and just start up the comp i'd be up for that.

Alright

Go with teh bigcricket XI

4 games tests or one-dayers doesn't matter

Change the pitch type every time

You can decide what pitch

After we have the four games and some other people might see what we are doing we will get the proper season going. 4 teams with international fill-ins and a bit of a recruiting drive

Looks good guys. I reckon we get the BigCricket XI going first and then see if traffic improves from there. After that we should gauge if we could be able to start the BigCricket competition again.
