If TAE can't get a side together then I suggest we cut our losses and just cancel the series against them. This series has been in the pipeline for about three months and nothing has happened except for a reserves tour over there which proved to be quite successful for us.
TAE look to be in a period of rebuilding rather than growth. The comp seems to have had multiple issues since it's inception with admin changes as well as a lack of players. Waiting another three months for a series is out of the question in my opinion. Our comp has barely started, the TwentyFive25 comp and season two won't finish until approximately the end of May which would make scheduling it outside of our own season difficult. Since we're promoting growth, a lot of the newer players will lose interest with only a select bunch of players participating should the series be held in the middle of our own season. If nothing goes ahead then I would suggest that our first, second and maybe third elevens play a series of games against some international sides (Australia, England, Sri Lanka "A" etc) which would keep up interest.
However, if an agreement can be arranged then I will have no problems with having a series against TAE.

Well... it would be interesting to see what would happen.
I'm guessing a lot of the guys here would choose BigCricket over BigFooty.
And the vast minority of guys on BigCricket would even be considered for selection over at BigFooty.
D4E would make the BigFooty team (not that he posts here) and LJP might be in the running (depending on who captains the BigCricket side).
I'd be more than happy to play against BigFooty and I'm sure ToonArmy would be too.

I refuse to play against BigFooty.
I wouldn't be able to post when the game was played at BigFooty anyway, since I banned from the board.

Ah fair enough. Why were you banned from BigFooty? You weren't causing any trouble, from what I saw, you were asking hard-hitting questions that players wanted answered.
You'd have absolutely no hesitation in picking BigCricket.
