therealtriglet;288761 said:u dont no newstead if u think they are 2 far back. they will be in and go close if not win it again with all the players getting back into the team
Then no i dont think they are 2 far back. I think they were like this last yearOutswinger;289112 said:You guys need to read the posts before you post. I asked the question if they were too far back I didnt say they were.
thehoff;290433 said:well i guess the big question is now... are castlemaine gunna choke in the finals? newstead might push them, barkers wont. it's shaping up as a very interesting second half of the year. any thoughts? any players gunna come good that have been quiet? any players been playing above themselves?
Outswinger;290662 said:Will be very interesting to see how Castlemaine go after Christmas... They play Campbells Creek away, The Redhats who have the wood on them, Then Barkers away, Newstead at home and Guildford away. They could possibly lose all 5 of those games. I would say at least 3. So they are not the team people think they are. They have had a very easy run.
Players like Lachy Ford, Jamie Allan and Ben Rossin are yet to fire. I would say they will be three of the stars after Christmas.
thehoff;290749 said:i don't think that milsom is all that much is he? i see he only took 4 wickets in the 3 or 4 games he played b4 he hurt himself. jamie allen is too old and frail by now isn't he? he's not far from pension age, and it is showing in his scores this year.
therealtriglet;290922 said:I'm just saying what happened last year when we played them. I played in the game and milsom was a very good bowler and Allen got runs in the game as well
Outswinger;295074 said:The league officials continue to baffle... 3 games washed out again because covers are not allowed to be used...
One game gets on because its a hard wicket and a result happens meaning a team jumps to third and another can pretty much kiss their finals chance goodbye.
The league should have a rule that unless 2 out of 4 games in A grade play then all A grade should not play and the same applies to A res. B grade will play most times due to being played on hard wickets.
Seems very unfair to the rest of the league when some teams play... Thoughts???

3 washed out A grade games - the whole round should be washed out
Our powers to be wont make the hard calls and that is why our competition remains in the dark ages, rules need to be clarified around covers and while we have hard wicket and turf teams we will continue to run into controversy
I hear a former a grade premiership captain is on the move in the not to distant future.........
is it true one or even two clubs are leaving the cdca ???

I play for Malmsbury. A great bunch of blokes, but we have not done anything on the pitch this year. Considering we won the A Reserve comp last year its a bit dissapointing.
I have only been able to play two games through work. In my first game I made 46* and had around 0/40 off 8 overs and in the second game I made a big fat 0.
Gee the rain has been annoying this past month.
