Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

Re: Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

Bit of smoke around Bendigo today. If it blows down the Calder I assume there will be no cricket in Castlemaine again this week as per a few years ago?

Or does it depend on how confident North are of winning their game?

Whats the last statement meant to mean? The information is that North have wanted to play and Castlemaine were the ones wo refused. That is a ridiculous comment.

Last time a game was called off due to smoke North Had a very handy score against Barkers Creek at Barkers and were happy to play.

As per Out Swinger North wanted to play V Castlemaine
It was Castlemaine who didn't and for that matter Barkers Creek Who Didn't v Campbells Creek two weeks ago

Time to get your facts straight and stay Honest............

Yep surely there is too much smoke around today so Satdys game has to be called off.

If we play tomorrow it must mean that North are playing Malmsbury or Muckleford and need an outrite otherwise if they are playing a top side then i think we had better look for something else to do tomorrow besides playing cricket.

Who runs the comp again?

Well said champ.

The guy clearly has no idea of what goes on in the league. The league committee is in fact made up of more Muckleford people than any other club so thinking that the Redhats run it is simply jealousy.

Also if he had any research skills he would find that Newstead is the team that the Redhats are playing in this round. They are last years premiers if not mistaken.

A lot of people do have nothing better to do than slag of others. People need to get facts right before commenting.

Nothing to do with last week I know nothing about what happened there, I am referring to a round several seasons ago which was called off due to smoke.

North may have had a 'handy' score but Barkers had a more than handy batting line up and would have stitched it up comfortably on the form at the time.

And as for Muckleford running the competition in my time there I did not see any of their players behave in an embarrassing and disgraceful way week after week and then threaten to resign when pulled up, something that I saw frequently from another club to the detriment of CDCA cricket.

You can't say that about the red hats. Stop bagging them!

There wouldn't be a comp without them.

Don't need research skills champ.

Just a bit of maths does the job

BIT OF SMOKE + A DECENT OPPOSITION = North not playing satdy!!!!

Been happening for years mate. Just stick with your emu valley comp mate!

Yeah mate i'm ready for the post of president and secretary.

Dunno about the best league in the cricketing world but i will at least bring the comp up to the year 2010 and beyond.

Also not allow one person or club (North Castlemaine) to make decisions based on their position in the current game their involved in.

I'd give the league two rounds before it folded with you in charge. You are a jealous man that has the blinkers on.

Give us some of the ideas you would bring to the table if voted into the top positions?

And I am sure North Castlemaine would be loving the fact that you envy them and are scared of their resurgence this season as a Premiership threat.

Also keepinemhonest holding onto grudges from years gone by also would make a club feel great that you too are jealous and worried about them. Keep it up, I am sure it would only continue to motivate them to want to win more and more.

Turn it up mate. You might be the coach of the red hats but that doesn't mean you need to make ridiculous statements like they are a premiership threat.

I am finished with your league now and only bring up past injustices to stop the league being manipulated again.

Just trying to bring some balance to a forum that includes the President, Coach, Wicket Keeper and Opening Bowler from one particular club.

Re: Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

well, well, well.......... the true identity of the outswinger is revealed! outswinger, you have made ridiculous statements on this forum from day 1and continue to do it with the very humourous comment of your team north being a premiership threat. please do everyone a favour and stop talking sh*t.
ttcc, why would you defend the red hats and c creek? 1. no one likes either of them 2. everyone knows they have payed players and manipulated the rules to benefit themselves for years.

you know it makes sense.

Im agreeing with no 1 likes them an that they pay players. good luck to them. helps them win a flag in the short term but genrally costs them players later on down the track. doesnt matter if the red hats manipulate the system, the still havent won an A grade flag for at least 5 years so it hasnt helped them has it

Dont know what makes you think I am the coach of the Redhats. I have clearly stated that I know a bit about the club but I do not play within this league.

I also know that North Castlemaine do not pay players at all so I am unsure as to why people think they do. And if they do let us know some names.

Just read the results and it has been confirmed that Malmsbury are the worst side to ever play A grade. They got beaten outright by Muckleford.
