Turn it up mate. You might be the coach of the red hats but that doesn't mean you need to make ridiculous statements like they are a premiership threat.

Well welcome coach of red hats. Mr Outswinger. (wouldn't know how to bowl one)

I think you should do some research into the club you play for before you get onto a forum and try and defend them. There are some nice little secrets hidden under the rocks at red square mate. Don't have to dig to far to find them.

The clubs a joke always has been and only wins premierships if an OLIVER plays for them. So unless Nick or James play a-grade i can't see you blokes being a threat.

Re: Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

2 rounds to go in the home and way season with the finals only a month away my predictions for finals are as follows: what do you guys think?

A Grade - 1st Castlemaine, 2nd North Castlemaine, 3rd Barkers Creek and Campbells Creek just to sneak in infront of the Goats.
A Reserve, 1st Taradale, 2nd Barkers Creek, 3rd Campbells Creek and Muckleford to limp into the finals.
B grade, I think the final four are set. Taradale or Campbells Creek have to do something special to make it into the finals.

Re: Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

hi gents,
its been a while since i last had an active roll in the cdca (even longer since i put the creams on). But its good to see there's still a bit of passion in the cdca.I still keep an eye on the junior cricket as i love to see the youngsters coming through . i actually snuck down to malmsbury on sat. Terrible cricket. I feel sorry for the berry boy's as i spend a bit of time down there volunteering at the prison. When they carn't find a side each week it makes you wonder where they will end up.
I hope the roomers about dave cobden re joining the ranks at newstead are true. Dave was a man that retired too early.
Good to see the pres on having a chat too, Disgusted to see a "Wolf Man" comment on his personal grooming. If you need a hand dick i've got a good drum of boot polish to get that wild mat under control.
This site is one of the few sites that i'm alowed to look at so i look forward to spending a bit of time on here and adding to the conversation.

yes!! finally a fellow goat on this forum!! cat, how have you been old friend? you are back just in time for our march towards finals glory! im afraid the dave cobden rumour, was just that. it is a shame seeing local players with such huge talent not playing the game we all love. maybe he will be back next year (fingers crossed). you raise a good point mr.small. it looks like i have succeeded in scaring "jando" off. if he even breathes on this forum again, i will unmask him, and some of his redhat mates.

thanks gladstone and Hoff
look, if they want to be considered a finals 'threat' there will have armed coup of the red hat administration. honestly are they trying to finish sixth?
Jarred 'Mill' Milsom has to be the most over rated cricketer in the cdca and has been for some time. If the premiership flag is to be flying at red square in 09, Milsom has to be relegated to scone duties at the wesley hill bike club. But if allan can rally the troops and keep that meanly chiseled chin up
without causing neck damage then they might just be a back door chance for the finals.

nice to see someone with the experience and know how about this league finally get on board on here.
he will be a valued member of this forum from now on.
he spent plenty of years prowling around the Under 16's in that famous "Tracksuit" and will have a terific idea of the youngsters coming through the ranks.
so what ever "Cat" says on here you know its going to be a valid opinion that should be respected by all.
Welcome back Cat.

Re: Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

i am still in awe of havin the great cat stevens back. im just wondering cat, do you still breed those bantom hens?
grass cutter you raise a good question of whether the round will be called off due to heat again. i think it will all depend on what the red hats want. considering they are playing the fudders, i think they might finally harden up, take their tampons out and pull on the creams. there will be a lot of their players who will be looking to boost their average against the battlers coz there are blokes who dont contribute when it counts, hey outswinger.

you know it makes sense

thank you very much bug for your kind words and support.
I must say its good to be back after a few turbulant years.
To ttcc, when it comes to the years that i was priveliged enough
to coach the under 16's JCW i assure you that the pleasure was all mine.
I would like to say that i enjoyed the company off all involved but realy it was the daylesford boy's that i alway's seemed to strike a chord with. I will always keep the special photo's that the boy's gave me.
As for the cricket willow jump suit. Well as you may recall, i purchased a couple of set's from the pioneer's in hip, sporty, and yet coumfortable fashion which is cricket willow.
Just 2 suits for every day wear (one of which may or may not be in an evidence bag down at cop shop),one 'good' set for court and i also had the one off custom made cowboy hat and arse'less chaps which realy
do look a treat.
Anyway enough about me, One would presume that the red hats would have to be shitting themselves with the form that my beloved goats are in. They are the real "thret" coming into the finals. Don't mess with the goats or you'll get the horns.

It all became clear gav that the d/ford boys were ya favourites, the fact no1 liked them but 1 was still captain. i think tim neilson needs to invest in a cricket willow tracksuit because lets face it, its not the coach that makes the tracksuit, its the tracksuit that makes the coach... and that gay lite blue is far from cricket willow green..

Well Gladstone what elase do you think i can do except breed my beloved hens. It may suprise you Gladstone, but i get eggs thrown at me in the street by some less than reputable characters. You know the sort. youngsters looking for an easy laugh. So i opt to stay home and collect eggs rather than have them thrown at me.
And its easy, The eggs practicly fall out of my hens.

(laughter)I find that amuseing ttcc. Mabe we should cut the red tape and
i should put my hand up for the top job. After all its not just the jump suit, It's also the gel/seamen slicked mullet that could be offered.
To quote gladstone, You know it makes sence..
