Re: Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

Well well well what a weekend!

Who would have thought we could play cricket again in this f'd up comp.

I was waiting all day, looking out the front gate, to see the great president driving down the road in a fire truck stopping at all grounds and calling a halt to play because of the smoke haze and the heat...... But he was a no show!

Now the heat, boy was it hot saturday. 28 i think. I had to retire hurt, dehydrated and exhausted!!!

Someone needs to be held accountable for this, i could have died!!

Sounds typical of a Red Hat Sook The sooner you Red Hats pack up and go the the Emu Valley Comp the better
It might even save on travel for half of your A grade team members

Re: Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

Howdy Fellow insects.

how the f**K did newstead win the premiership last season!?
they are a pack of front-running cowards.
if they just had a crack at the recruitment of the "early retired" Dave "Redda" Cobden they might be able to make more than 70!

also just throwing it out there.
CAT STEVENS..........GOD!!!!
the man is a pure inspiration for his much admired under 16 cricketers.
he spent a lot of his time prowling around the c grade matches keeping an eye, on the young fellas. ;)
and always throwing in his much admired opinions on the "form" on and off the field.

The Bug is Out.
But he will be back.
To bite you when you least expect it.

Yes it was good to see the young kid purdon make a good hundred shows a bit of youth at taradale, and for once not relying on dean to come to the rescue!!

he did a good job after we slumped to 4/150 odd... agree with u shemd, was good that we didnt need dean to get us to a big total.. will be good to see if we defend the score without his bowling aswell

It will be tuff but with the bowling attack that you still have and their batting line up, shouldn't be that difficult

Yes bug, i concur.
I had herd a roomer that young dave retired because of a nasty case of osteitis pubes. Some might chuckle at this but i urge you to put yourself in dave's size 4 shoes. Apparently it was extremely red down there and caused the young man excruciating burning sensation. Must have been terrible. No one likes to see such a champion leave the game before his time. I know there was similar tears shed the day i hung the whites up.
To reply to the hoff now. Im sorry TTcc but i must agree with hoff.
Taradale, you are just awful.
I empathize with you ttcc and simply feel very sorry for you. The fact that you have to Travel to the "cesspool" or as the dirty dale boy's like to more colorfully refer to it as "snake pitt".
I fully understand that you carpet snakes want to keep positive and Try and show the outside world that you are "up and about", but don't get on you high horse with such swagger when you might win a couple of "second rate"
cricket matches.
I was also shocked to see Ttcc de mask himself as a young lynden vearing.
lynden, why?, why would you play there. I remember coaching you at jcw. Always a positive young man with a big smile and never say die attitude i'm sure the boy's would love to have you join the herd down at my beloved goats.
You know you could probably even nestle back in with the colts. I think that Ross Hall is still crying about last years "injustice" (laughter) and probably wouldn't even notice if you snuck out of the bushes and rolled the
arm over.
Sorry ross, that was a cheap shot and I know it was unpleasant for all involved. All i can say is..
BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR!!!! (laughter)
