Yes bug, i concur.
I had herd a roomer that young dave retired because of a nasty case of osteitis pubes. Some might chuckle at this but i urge you to put yourself in dave's size 4 shoes. Apparently it was extremely red down there and caused the young man excruciating burning sensation. Must have been terrible. No one likes to see such a champion leave the game before his time. I know there was similar tears shed the day i hung the whites up.
To reply to the hoff now. Im sorry TTcc but i must agree with hoff.
Taradale, you are just awful.
I empathize with you ttcc and simply feel very sorry for you. The fact that you have to Travel to the "cesspool" or as the dirty dale boy's like to more colorfully refer to it as "snake pitt".
I fully understand that you carpet snakes want to keep positive and Try and show the outside world that you are "up and about", but don't get on you high horse with such swagger when you might win a couple of "second rate"
cricket matches.
I was also shocked to see Ttcc de mask himself as a young lynden vearing.
lynden, why?, why would you play there. I remember coaching you at jcw. Always a positive young man with a big smile and never say die attitude i'm sure the boy's would love to have you join the herd down at my beloved goats.
You know you could probably even nestle back in with the colts. I think that Ross Hall is still crying about last years "injustice" (laughter) and probably wouldn't even notice if you snuck out of the bushes and rolled the
arm over.
Sorry ross, that was a cheap shot and I know it was unpleasant for all involved. All i can say is..
BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR!!!! (laughter)

I think its good that Taradale still have a club i have been talking to a few of there players and they said it was the only way to keep there club from falling out so good on them. If ur not good enough to beat them thats ur problem. the fake snake on the pitch was gold TTcc

id put him up there as 1 of the top allrounders in the comp... hard to hit an can easily make a moderate total seem very hard to chase in very short time

Are you serious, how far back are you digging.
He may have snagged a few wickets and made the odd run but i'd hardly call him an elite athlete. Most of the gut's he's shown this summer have been hanging out of that skin tight castle united shirt of his.
As you can tell I'm struggling to find anything remotely humorous about the man.
Credit where credit's due, he's had a pretty handy year. i see he snagged four for thirty odd on the week end. mind you it was against the stead boy's so it prob doesn't count.
Can never be to many hen's on this site. hope your a bantom.

Vering, i dont think we would even have you back at the Colts im sorry to say mate, not unless you we wanted to drop you from the B grade grade final again for a laugh. The Colts have so much depth we try to help second rate trophy hunting clubs (Taradale) by given you guys our second rate players so that you can feel better about you lack of ability by hitting kids around in A reserve. Looking through the previous few rounds of competion i see the young Mr vering was dropped from A reserve to B grade. So where to next Vering?
Other quality players who have departed the Colts include, Turls, Head the Mcleod boys, Hayden Mckendry and Lindys big brother. Some pretty quality depth there.

As for last years semi final draw the league has sent the Colts a letter saying sorry and they were in the wrong. As for bagging Ross Hall i dont think you could find a better person who has contributed more to the Colts and the league. How about showing some respect? Have a look at yourself "Cat stevens"

Yeah mate i'm ready for the post of president and secretary.

Dunno about the best league in the cricketing world but i will at least bring the comp up to the year 2010 and beyond.

Also not allow one person or club (North Castlemaine) to make decisions based on their position in the current game their involved in.

Your not the sharpest tool in the shed, i think everyone know what sort of grass you cut!! Why dont you state a fact instead of dribling absolute crap?

your a good one Shmed....
an innocent little insect like me would probably be able to make more runs for the steaders than the useless blokes they have in their line up at the moment.
but no Chris i dont actually play cricket, i spend my time burrowing around the dirt in search of that illusive ant that my darling wife Helga needs to cook for our 3 little insects, Marven, Philip, and Gavin (ofcourse named after the great man "Cat Stevens"), and having a cheeky look at the happenings of the local cricket on a saturday arfernoon, which i spend nessled in Maxy Lessors beard.

The Bug is Out.
But he will be back.
To bite you when you least expect it.

mate was never dropped from a b grade granny, semi yes but no grandfinal. was dropped to allow a few others a game an found it tough to get back in,,, but if you look the last 2 games i was back in a res... i reackon some 1 of our second rate crickters has more A grade flags then many at the C/Creek club... an most of those players mentioned either have played a grade at the club or left an played a grade elsewhere... good move for them..
I reckon Rosco has contributed a lot for both the club an league, was disapointin he didnt re nominate for the treasury again for the league

Sounds typical of a Red Hat Sook The sooner you Red Hats pack up and go the the Emu Valley Comp the better
It might even save on travel for half of your A grade team members

Funny you should mention that because I play in the EVCA and I know for a fact that at the last league meeting delegates were sounded out as to their thoughts on a Castlemaine club being admitted into the league.

There have also been enquiries made into the availability of a ground for lower grade matches.

Judging by that remark it appears the club must be North. If you think you can dump your CDCA trash in our bin you have another thing coming.

I bet they already have a nomination form ready for secretary next year.

Shmed you odviously have a favouring for one of your favourite students at school "ronnie", thats young culvenor isn't it!?
if so he is the most overated bowler in the league, rolls down absolute pies in my view. dunno how the bloke is playing a grade cricket! let alone bendigo country week.

come on cdca lift your game.

Re: Castlemaine and District Cricket Association

Hello my friends.

I thought i might get on here and just see what everyone thinks of the league, which i cherish most.
i have gained great pleasure from photographing local cricket for the past 6 years, and from an outsiders point of view i feel the league has a great feel about it.
I will get on here time to time to either just say G'Day, or put in my point of view.

Looking forward to the action today.

Cheers,
Your Friend,
Max
