i think i lost it saturday night, lent it to hally as a drinking hat.

all seriousness thats fair comment by me i reckon, yeah it hit me a bit more cos hes from north but, hes made himself available and dominated last year, youd think hed get another gig
i thought yelland woulda been picked also, maybe hes unavailable

He would've been one of the first non-selections out of the 30, performance last year or not. Not taking anything away from him, he is a very good player who will only get better, at the moment there are plenty top order bats ahead of him. Pitts, Baars, Smiljanic, Bambury, Talarico, Peterson would all bat in the top 3 in front of him who were in the 18.
Players from the final team of last season who performed admirably weren't selected in the initial 30, just shows how much un-availabilty there was last season.

13 man squad would add Nguyen for the next generation and the fact that he is a gun.
