Todd McCann and Ashley Williams have withdrawn, replacements for those two haven't been named. Lacking bowling strength, the team is likely to be batting heavy. With Williams out, Gardiner should be captain.​

Just to start some rumours off for 2012 apparently TV has offered Simon Lavers 10k to go to Village. TV won't have Johnstone, Cachopa and McDermott this year and will need to recruit heavily to get back the fire power from two season ago.

Nightcliff will see the return of a recent cricketer of the year and back to back club champion return to the club as a player/coach, could bring a couple of quality players with him.
