The only reason Christopherson makes the side is through 30+ dismissals. In reality you'd pick another bat and look at who could be the best keeper out the non-bowling bats in the side. Maybe you've seen him bat better but in the two games he has batted against us, he hasn't hit one off the square.

This is also Burton's 4th season. Dunno how I forgot about Keen, he'd replace Mire in the team of the year.

Lavers to take the gloves or drop Christopherson for Carter.

The write up in the paper today was terrible, think two or three blokes got mentioned that aren't even playing/gone home.

PINT rolled TV for 65 and are 3 for 240. Lavers on track for another ton. Southern Districts racked up 385 and have the Tigers 2 for 40. Plunkett with a ton. Darwin bowled Palmerston out for 143 after they were 2 for 100 odd, Joe Carter with 75 at the top. Andrew Mathieson picked up 5 for Darwin, Eagles 4 for 146 in reply.

I play div 1 & 2 in AFL up here in wet season and there is bigger write ups for that then the priemer comp in cricket NT News is very disapointing in the sports(cricket) department should be at least half a page on indepth facts about people who play!

Anyone prepared to make any grand judgements for this weeks finals?? Apparently the Flynn is very confident but word has it that his hammy won't stand up to the finals pressure that will be placed on it. This surprises me considering his physique...
Are Palmerston and Waratahs going to field full sides this weekend??? Palmy keeping the emergency department busy and Tahs waiting on flight availability

Haha. Grey Morris used a few liberties but either way, top of the table and an inform bowling attack, we should be confident. That said PINT are no easy beats and whoever wins between us should go on to win the GF. Match could be similar to their last encounter at Kahlin.

Not sure how Palmerston's stock are looking but they maybe without Gallow and Carter, while Hanna may not be able to bowl. With Crowe and Williams back, they'll still need a quick otherwise Weerasinghe will have to should the work load.Tahs are also struggling in the quick department.

Having the best bowler in the comp not being able to ball will hurt palmo but with Herman mccann and chatto playing b grade they will be fine no carter hurts but carbone and regan will fire!! Tahs have run out of frequent flyer points so they may not feild a side this week! a final at kahlin against lavers and berry is a bad idea flynn get it moved!!!!!!!!!

Depending on how many more D grade matches McCann has played, he has only 4 playing days currently, while Glen Chatto hasn't played first grade since 2010. If you're talking about Shane, he won't have the playing days to be eligible either.

Write up todays paper was good to see, hopefully they do decent coverage for semi and GF.

Looks like Calkin has taken out Cricketer of the Year for the second time.

Reichstein takes the leading wicket taker, Simon Keen with the average.

Nick Berry gets leading run scorer and average.

Gloveman is Christopherson

Fielder of the Year could be anyone but I'm saying Christian Thiel.

Cause about 5 other blokes did the same thing. Team of the year is purely statistical I believe as well but the team I've selected probably isn't quite that. Presentation is next Wednesday.

On other news, I think it is official that Cav has stood down as club president at TV. Be interesting to see what direction they head next year.

There was also the Cricket Australia Roadshow on tonight, was reasonable discussion but probably a little to commercial/marketing jazz.

Logan pulls the spinners gig despite only taking 24 wickets and making 10 runs, not that isnt a typo, ten runs. Hope he doesn't forget my place around Easter time.
