yeh im not a big fan of shane cullen either.

who are the top 5 run scorers this year??
Well remember I don't take much notice as to who's leading what in the 16's.
Most runs probably Groom, Dylan Campbell, You, Mitch Johnson, Abbatangelo I dunno.

Someone who actually plays in the comp should tell us all!

Re: DVCA Juniors

Nah just due to my relative proximity to the city, I can access the internet much more easily than yourself. ;)

I havn't seen the stats, but I would assume Johnson, Groom, Campbell would be top 3.

Im sure i would've bowled a worse ball than that lol :p. I cant tell u how many people rate him but he is a good bowler, if he doesn't have a hangover he will bowl good. He has picked up a bit of pace now and he swings the ball.

so having to put up with the death and destruction that Whittlesea have, you now say they should be punished even more ???
Does anyone here realise that if the wind had not changed when it did, that places like North Eltham could well have gone up too ???

How do you think NEW would have reacted if they had lost all, AND THAN been told that they lose all points as well ?

Compassion before competition !

i no that mate, im not baggin or trying to put down whittlesea and yes i no what they've been through, i realize all that and i dont mind who gets the points, i was just trying to see what the intelligent big cricketers out there thought, sorry.

Try taking you club cap off for a minute, consider what could could very easily have happened to you guys, and then have a think about it.....

SOME of us have realised over the last few weeks that there is more to life than cricket.

you didnt make finals.
maybe you shouldve won more games during the season?
dont blame it on whittlesea. its clearly not there fault. you have no idea at all what they have been through, dont even say that you do. or you have a slight idea.
most people go to school at whittlesea. everyone in the whittlesea side i can gaurantee that they know of someone who has passed away. im sure the school has been depressing to be at.
you have no idea the stress that they have been through.

im quite glad NEW are in dispute for finals, your all selfish and need to get a life outside of cricket. i hope cricket doesnt take you anywhere.

Just a quick question for you NEWCC.
Do you realise how much damage you are doing to your clubs reputation ???
I have had a very long standing, good relationship with a lot of your senior members, as have a lot of other players around the Valley, and by acting like a bunch of self centered, spoiled little BRATS, you are already well on your way to becoming the most hated set up in the DVCA.

You really are doing your club an injustice mate. :(

Re: DVCA Juniors

Whats your thoughts, should the DVCA go to odd age groups as there are a lot of players wanting to play in the HDCA U17 comp next year. The HDCA juniors playing on Friday nights is great coz you can play seniors on Sat with less restrictions and your not playing 2 games in 1 day plus you can also play school cricket on Sat as well. Should the DVCA change to Fri nights as well. I know thats why a lot of your gun cricketers went to play HDCA. I also hear Montmorency are putting in an U17 side in HDCA and that Macleod are wanting to change to Fri as well.

i dont think so.
i dont see why we should change something that has been succesful for a long time. there is nothing wrong with DVCA players going to the HDCA to play 17s for a year. they still play 16s the year before and when they do play for the HDCA they usually play DVCA seniors anyway.
