einserdal is not a bad bowler, can pitch it well and spins it a bit. if he gets hit, its because sm pitch gets too much bounce for a spinner.

I think you will find that DVCA will be making changes either next year or definitely the year after. There has been a lot of positive feedback from teams that have had their games changed to Wed and Fri which frees up weekends. HDCA have also played even age groups and found the odd is better. Ask anyone thats played 17s. Its not smart playing 17s in HDCA when you could have your own. Its better to grow the comp not weaken it. Then you wouldnt lose guns like Cookson,Love etc

I think he is a very good player but all u blokes on this forum rap him up saying stuff like he is going to play for Australia.
Ill give u a name.
Michael Hill. An absolute gun in juniors. 2x better the Ben Russel is at his age. His played 2 oneday games for Victoria and looks very ordinary. I no his young but the fact is you have to be an absolute superstar at Juniors to star for Victoria let alone get a baggy green for Australia.
Ben will definately play District, probably one's, but if he was so good he would be playing with Mitch Johnson and Mark Phelan in the Vic Metro and Invititaional teams.

Good spinner when he's on. Bowled trash in school cricket, got hit for 35 off two overs at Eltham. That was gold. But he isn't too bad.

school cricket doesnt count
matty will be very handy for bundoora in the finals for both junior and senior teams.... GO THE NANNY RUN

Myself and Louis Smith play in the same team and managed to both get hattricks in school cricket.
That's how irrelevant it is when "school" meets "club"

i reckon benny will play for australia in the twenty20 world cup.
and chennai in the ipl
but he is a really good allround player
opening the batting in barclay reserve.
opened the bowling and captained bundoora OP's in the hatch carnival
and keeps in b grade.

i love benny russell!
it'll be a shame to chase down 280.................. again :)
