I have been recently notified that Ben Russell has won the B grade comp batting average. All you people out there who have bad mouthed this young superstar, you should hang your head in shame!!! Not only has he achieved this brilliant award, but he has also won the bowling average for his junior team(16 1's) Not bad for a keeper.
If you are wondering why he didnt play A grade, this is why: Bundoora's 2nds had struggled for a strong opening batsmen, Benny came along and has held his ground with very competitve scores. He stabilsed the top order for the team which almost helped them into finals. You juniors better watch out for this kid. Its not often you get to see a kid who is very good at batting, bowling, keeping and fielding.

Mate, you wouldn't have a clue. Unlike yourself, he isn't talking himself up he is commenting on a fantastixc effort from a bloke playing bottom age 16s. Probably wouldn't be a great achievement looking through the eyes of Mr. Cricket Fitzsimmonds though yeah?

he wont leave bundy even if you paid him, not only is he a superstar cricketer, his a superstar clubsman aswell

nah i didn't notice it, maybe it was on the other side of the wicket. I was too busy worrying about being able to see the ball with dust in my eyes :)

Terrible sources mate Ben Russell has never said a good word about himself, he is a very modest cricketer who's accomplished alot already. THE GOO is definately not Ben.
