For my ability, I admit I'm lucky to be playing there, but C-grade isn't bad.

Here's some names...
Ryder, Dyson, Campbell, Phelan, Gilbert, Abbatangelo, L.Smith ;), Jack Reid, Williams.

They're some of the best juniors going around, they are SO much better than you (and me), and they played some games (and for a few of them, many games) in C-grade.

For someone who's batting average for the year is 11, it's hard to get my head around how you're playing Money Reserve as an opener.

Stop bad mouthing Fitzie alright, he is 10 times better the player you will ever be.
He is one of the most solidest (not sure thats a word) bats in the comp.
He has a few faults in his technique, but he is going to go far in cricket.
He is a good bowler, turned keeper. I like bowling to him cause he really works on moving his feet when keeping.
Ryan mate, Fitzie will achieve competitions higher than u not the grades. So stop bad mouthing a kid you have barely seen.

Attention Posters of the DVCA Junior Forum.

Whilst at most times this thread contains reasonable posts and fun, acceptable sledging I am making a few rules to see us through to the end of the playing season.

Issues I am enforcing from now on THIS forum (DVCA Juniors) are:

Blue is better than Teal (or vice-versa) - Any further posting about this subject WILL be infringed for trolling. Whilst normally this would be an acceptable argument it has run its course and is banned until next season.

You may belong to a club with great history and talent - YOU are actually not directly responsible, what you actually do is make your club look worse off when you post about other clubs are crap (and worse) People work their arse off and are proud of that club that usually has been around longer than you have. Ease up, respect other clubs and players. ANY further posts bagging a club FOR NO REASON (if you have a reason it would want to be a good one) will result in a infringement for trolling.

The finals are a touchy, emotional time, win and lose with dignity, be proud and respectful of everything that happens. As I have said, even on here you are representing your club, which includes all the history and hard workers from years past.

If you have an issue with these rules .....tough, pm me, but really if you think mas gambios, The Wizz, myself and others have nothing better to do but monitor some posters on here when they lose their dummies and mummy cannot find it so they post dribble on here, think again the DVCA Junior forum is getting bigger and bigger and should be for all.

Keep posting, discuss cricket and have fun. Let us (and you all) work to make the DVCA area of BigCricket and the junior forum a better place for all.

mate its a bloody forum, let us sledge a bit and get under the skin of other players. You ruin this for everyone by stopping an arguement.

most solid**

As stated before, Sub-District 4's is not a great standard of cricket.
I'd be more than happy playing at the Wanderers for most (if not all) of my playing days.

Re: DVCA Juniors

Well I can't say I have heard it before?
Does your team get talked about like that often .. I wouldn't expect that from a side which is 'going to give Monty a run' for better use of words.

Sub District 4's is a better standard than NEWCC 3rd's by a mile.
Fitzie will be playing higher than 4's at Preston next year won't u Fitz.

Re: DVCA Juniors

why wouldnt i defend the club i play for, its a great club to be around with a great bunch of blokes, and all everyone does is put shit on them.

I thought you did, that's why you have to defend yourself or your side everytime somebody has a dip at them.

From what I've heard, Fergie is one of the best sledgers and smartest cricketing juniors going around, Knows how to get into people's heads.

What you guys don't realise, is that if you reacted like this on the field, Ferg's battle is already won.

Just chill guys, it's just cricket.
