Has anyone seen the scores from this morning ?
woot wooot diamond creek.

seems to me that once the pressure really gets put on you blokes, you choke.
wouldn't surprise me if we don't see another bundoora post until next season anybody from a different club :)
never did i think i would see the day.

and on a more interesting note,
what is the story about this alleged barney this morning between some parents ?
Very smart champ. keep a low profile, then whoop it up. Traits of a front runner. Lucky your team mates produce when the going gets tough. Maybe you should take a dose of humble, the sun does not shine out of your or your clubs rear end. For your sake I hope Hiser and Williams are available next game. you need their coat tails to hang on to.

Seems to be the norm down your way mate, I reckon over the last few years you have had an impressive showing in the finals.

Shows a well ran club that has grabbed all oppertunities to grow and be one of the leaders of the DVCA and the envy of other clubs.

Well we are playing finals cricket and its something to get excited about.

The amount of junk which has been said about how good the Bundoora players has been borderline ridiculous and now they will be having a sleep-in next Saturday. Ask anyone who isn't from that club about it.

Our side played one of our best games of the year, with every player contributing. My performance was not one of my best, but there was still a slight contribution.

And you better believe Hiser and Williams will be playing, but we won't be hanging off their coat tails. Dan Gilbert bowled Diamond Creek C Grade to victory yesterday afternoon, and Mark Phelan was also instrumental in the win. We need not rely on two players.

So bad luck Bundoora and Riverside, to those who are bottom age good luck next year.

Yes, the time I have played at the club it has always had a good amount of sides in the finals.
Last year was one of our best years, where I think we won 6 premierships.

The people behind the scenes at the Creek are so dedicated and passionate about success, that I think it flows through the playing group also.

Though it would surprise me if a club's management wasn't also like ours.

Humble in Victory and Gracious in Defeat......I like to see that and hope that remains.

Re: DVCA Juniors

Bad luck to the riverside boys, put up a gallant effort. They had us on the ropes and if it wasn't for Alex Cotters 35 and four wickets. I have a feeling it would be you guys playing creek this week. Good effort and good luck next year!

As for Bundoora, I have nothing against any of you but you guys talked to the talk but couldn't walk the walk. Its a good idea to stop talking about how good you are, just let your cricket do the talking. You will probably win the flag next year so good luck aswell!

POWER 08/09!!!

What team might you come from?, I wonder if I saw your name in any finals team, I doubt it though.

Fergie, Plenty will win.
I hope Diamo win for some of my mates.
But I hope Diamo lose because I know if you guys win you will be on this forum 24/7 telling us how good you and Diamo are and for Plenty to suck it up.
There will always be an excuse for u if u lose.

Look mate, public opinion says that Plenty will win, and I tend to agree. But it will be closer than what most expect.
I can come on here and say how good Diamond Creek is, because it is the truth.
Unlike you and your pals from South Morang, where 90% of your cricketers will be sleeping in on Saturday morning, or watching others play in the afternoon.

And a side note, so much for you thinking you would have a crack at Monty.
179 run defeat looks like you gave it everything. Now correct me if i am wrong, but didn't you and your buddies say that you didnt rate their batting, but you conceded around 5 runs an over.

Anyway, I'm going to spend a bit of time laughing at the past 30 pages of posts about how Diamond Creek were going to lose, and all these people were going to make runs or take wickets. Enjoy your Monday evening boys.
