Round 7

Yarrambat v Bundoora United

Mill Park v Sth Morang (may be switched to sth morangs ground)

St Franicis v Whittlesea

Eltham College v Panton Hill

North Eltham Wanderers v Thomastown United

Hurstbridge v Montmorency

We all know Bundoora are crap Bats easy 150 plus

If Mill Park keep playing 7 bowler they wont win anther game this season alot of talk about Jones this is his time to shine Mill Park need someone to stand up and take control and bat with Stewart and make some runs Morang will bowl them out for 130 or will be smashed for 300 plus.

Abbs, Moloy and King should be in the 2s when are Whittlesea going to see the light ? Duggin and Lewis in a show of look what you had and now what you have lost to kill the helpless Eagles.

College what a joke after all the crap they have wrote on here 2 words(SUCKED IN) The Hill Billys might crack 2 in arow god I hope them boys from the hill kick your sorry arses. Motch has to stop being such an arse wipe and start playing some good cricket, Fordy needs to bowl with some heart for them to have any chance.

NEW might have been pulled back to earth last weekend. If they dont make 290 plus game over Thommo need there captian to be a real leader and take control in a game that could start shaping the 4.

The Mont boys will be spewing wasting all that petrol to go give them hill billys a good old fashion smacking. Hurstbride need Jim to start playing cricket. And S. Long to keep that big mouth closed.

Dont write back you all suck.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Big round of cricket ahead to take us in to Christmas. Some club's seasons hinging on their performance over this fortnight.

Bundoora United V Yarrambat @ Loyola
Yarrambat to bounce back. Performance against Morang below par. BU without as good attack as SM should enable Y'bat to score more and Bray to get wickets.

South Morang V Mill Park @ The Lakes
Along with TU v NEW this is a game to watch for mine. This match will be reflective of both club's seasons. Surely MP have to get going at some stage, they without doubt have some talent however it's too late for a finals birth I believe. Morang had a good win last week and should back up well IMO. But they need to prove they can get runs. Bear needs to stand up as well as Micky Peters if Morang are to prove their worth.

Whittlesea V St Francis @ Walker
Franks far too strong. Did well to knock of College and take top spot and deserve the credit for where they are. Need a big score to carry confidence into the break though, look for Duggin to finally break the shackles.

Panton Hill V Eltham College @ WG Park
College should return after the top of the table clash in which they pushed Franks. But PH have a tendancy to do the unexpected. EC to win and win by a lot but Motschall the roughie.

Thomastown United V NEWCC @ Thomastown East
BIG game for both clubs. Should be a cracker. NEW with an in form batting line-up and rumours of the return of Pete Mann should strengthen the side. However I still have doubts over their bowling. Aussie Mann and Jack Young performing okay but really need to have a big match if NEW are to be contenders. Matty George could prove the difference with both bat and ball. I'm gonna go with Thommo, but in reality you could flip a coin.

Montmorency V Hurstbridge @ Mont Park
Great chase by Mont last week and Hursty did well over Seas. HB could be a suprise packet if Sadowy bowls well but I think too much rests on his shoulders. Both have good batting line-ups; Wunyam, Hand V Atkins, Byrne, so could be decided by who bats the stronger, rather than a good performance with the ball. I'll say Monty to maintain their spot in the 4.

That's more than enough from me. LB4 :p

Been on the phone to the DVCA this morning looking for a ground as Redleap has not come up in time..So what will happen is..Sth Morang and Mill Park 1st and 2nds will play at your home ground the 5th H grade will be moved this week and the 4th F grade will be switched the following week for the 1 dayer..It makes better sense to have both teams there than playing on these cow paddocks..

It doesnt happen very offen when you can have your two top grades playing side by side..It will be good to be able to watch both games kick back and enjoy a cold beer or two..Should make for some very good canteen and bars sales for you guys.:D

Yeah sounds good wizz smart idea will be good to see both 1s and 2s going head to head
and then being able to stick around for a beer or 20!
See you on the weekend

Re: DVCA Money Shield

I cant wait toplay in this great game filled with two legends from their respective clubs.
Stan Apostla from Thomo and BT from NEW. I will be brushing arms with a couple of greats in this Money Reserve top of the table clash. Should be a very good game.

I think its a fantastic Idea, two very good grounds and a venue too match. Might have to talk more to Sth Morang and DVCA to see what can be done. We all should get a better idea after this week to see how our members support such a great idea..Should be a good game of cricket between two very competitive clubs.

St Franicis v Whittlesea.. Franks by alot.

Hurstbridge v Montmorency... Monty in good form, another easy win!

Bear, Mashy has been going ok this year batting time in the middle and playing a different role in the team. he has been unlucky in a couple of the games, but you watch after christmas the runs will come for him i feel a big hundred against the morangs is on the cards.
