Just to fill people in, the word around the Franks about Greg Duggin is that people were under the impression that he was a gun. So far he needs to feild with a bucket(possibly his empty KFC 1) going by the size of his arse, Can not run in between the wickets and has caused run outs, makes ducks and rellies heavily on the guys in the feild to make him look good with the ball.and cant get through a training sesion without having a vom. Apart from that keep up the good work Greg! hahahahahahahahaha :D

That's not nice. I've heard Lewarse got a Krispie Kreme franchise to go over to St Francis from Whittlesea. No doubt any profit made will be offset by his allowance of 5 boxes per day for lunch.

Whit seem to be going along alright at the moment, lose this week and its catch up for the rest of the year.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Aah the tall poppy syndrome is live and well in Money Shield. Lots of criticism of the Franks... reality check here gents; They are the benchmark & all teams in MS need to rate themselves against St F. Good luck in Barclay Brett.:)

wotever horse that woz bak it cum tuesday cos it has well + truly bolted!!!

Re: DVCA Money Shield

what more do the franks have to do? they have won 3 from 3, they only possible thing that they could have done better is to knock over the last 3 wickets and win outright against morang. they beat thomastown who have come down from barclay and they other two teams they have beaten although not quiet up there they can only play against what is opposed to them..

no matter what people say they have the best batting line up in money, and a few people on here might be a bit annoyed that they bat right down to 9. there bowling although a bit light on will get teams all out more times than not.

all this bagging of their players i think is only going to fire them up and being a bunch of young fella's they will not hold back when they do get you out or make runs against you, i dont think they have bolted to early i dont think one franks player has said that it is all over and no one can match up to them. time will tell with there next 3 games being against panton hill, colege and mont if they win those three and go into christmas un-beaten then watch out cause they will be pumped..

just my thoughts and i dont care if wan*kers like the ghost and nudie run dissagree, they are they kind of guys that peek in the door when players are having a shower

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Looks like a crappy day for cricket is finally upon us!! I can't remember the the last time we have had nice days for the first 3 rounds!!!

Rain, Showers all day is the forecast for Saturday... damn Melbourne weather!!

Never disagreed money player (see my ladder prediction) im just over all the talk about the franks been so good and we are only 3 rounds in.

as for the peeking around the door when the players are having a shower great call is that the best you could come up with:eek:

if you have nothing funny to say then dont say anything at all

Mill Park v Whittlesea - Mill Park still overrated but should win not sure how C's have won games. If Mill Park lose season close to over... im hoping C's get up

Mont v College - Match of the round, college to win Mont to discover they wont be going straight back to A grade if they didnt realise after last week.

United v Morang - Morang to win

Thommo v Bats - Bats to beat Thomo. If george doesnt perform they will struggle all year! Bats are a good team..

Franks v Panton Hill - Franks to win and make lots and lots of runs. Possibly 400+

NEW v Bridge - NEW to win
My Round 4 tips:

Mill Park V Whittlesea- Mill Park to bounce back. Whittlesea will be in the game for a long time though. A close one.

Mont V College- Match of the round, should be a good close tussle- College to win with their attack and batsman starting to post a good score for a change.

Bundy Utd V Morang- Morang to make a score too big for Bundys batsman to chase

Thommo V Bats- Another good game- Thommo might just get pipped, Bats need to start stringing a couple together.

Panton Hill V Franks- St.Francis to win but not as convincing as last game. However I reckon panton hill might grab a couple of decent scalps this year.

NEW v Hursty- Cmon Jimmy gimme some runs!! Hursty to win with better bowling attack.

Re: DVCA Money Shield

Word out of the Franks is that  Jimmy Flyn done his shoulder at training last night and looks like being out for a fair few weeks, can any 1 confirm?
