DVCA Off-Season 202021

Prepare to pack your own lunch, chairs, marquees, drinks... and if you win don’t expect any socialising from 3/4 of them.

Agreed , can't speak for the last few seasons but from my experience they've always been slightly stand offish. The ex socials boys aside I don't remember ever seeing any of them at a cash draw or any other opposing clubs functions anywhere either. Good cricketers- different cats

Garry senior and junior are two of the best you’ll come across. Rocky is always good for a Corona.

I think they play at Cotchin Reserve in Reservoir out of the old Reservoir-Lakeside football ground. Their lower grades play out of one of the grounds at JC Donath Reserve in Keon Park. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
Can confirm itl the widest pitch in the valley to! Would be struggling If you missed the pitch

Rosebank has a submission in with the Council to renovate the facilities which was probably submitted 5 years ago and will be approved sometime in the next decade. Good cricketers but won't be making many friends around the comp outside of Rocky & Junior. I wonder where they're going to splash their cash this off-season...

Aside from the rooms, would be in the top 5 cricket grounds in the comp IMO.

As much as we can argue which comp is better (played against HDCA teams years ago who have formed NMCA, can't really comment), I do believe it speaks volumes that one of the powerhouses sees no reason to stay in the NMCA anymore and has decided to enter our competition.

I personally think they'll be up to Money within a year, and thus the NMCA will have Rivergum winning every flag until the comp folds.

I should actually add Nimma to that list. He is a great guy as well who will have a beer with you regardless.
