With rona virus hitting the hip pocket nerve of clubs. Could we see Gardiner on the way to club number 17?? Maybe a Rosebank for instance?

Pea hearted from you mate. Jumping off the sinking ship.Shaun Barker has informed OPs that he's moving on. Pretty sure he'll play for Epping next season.
You have just put a 21 year old kid as the senior coach of a struggling club who will not play any 1st XI cricket. Jase and Shaun have held that first XI up for the last 2 season, why should Shaun have to burned the rebuild when they can’t even provide him with an experienced coach? He would just have to do the job of holding hands and tying shoelaces without the recognition of the sacrifices that come with that responsibility. They didn’t even have a coach last year, so who do you think was running training? He owes OP’s nothing.Pea hearted from you mate. Jumping off the sinking ship.

Round 1Does anyone have the slightest clue when cricket will start?
Nice one. Got me good.Round 1
Nice one. Got me good.
Hearing that round 1 can be before the AFL Grand Final, that weekend, Melbourne Cup weekend or after... Very confusing
I think a lot of it will depend on if the AFL have a Sunday night grand final like they are thinking about.I’ve been hearing it will go ahead first week of October as per usual, as there’s no NFNL season. Did read an article yesterday how subbies are weighing up the idea of playing on the Melbourne Cup public holiday..... hoping that doesn’t apply to us hahaha
They would only use the junior football grounds one would think, or the comp can just schedule around the games once the grounds are announced.Well this may have an implication, with a number of grounds being YJFL footy grounds.
Banuyle, Macleod, Heidelberg, riverside & and a few more are all junior grounds.. can’t see how it would workThey would only use the junior football grounds one would think, or the comp can just schedule around the games once the grounds are announced.
Surely A Grade senior cricket overrides YJFL
Get creative with the fixture then.Banuyle, Macleod, Heidelberg, riverside & and a few more are all junior grounds.. can’t see how it would work
Not that simple. Centrewickets are covered for footy. Not possible to councils imo to pull them up on the Saturday then lay them back down again for Sunday morning..Junior footy is Sunday, Cricket is Saturday. Simple
