Thats funny, I thought it would suit Lower Eltham? Seeing as though Lower bent over and took it up the arse from Plenty?
Come on Quynlenn - Someone from the relegated team bagging one of the Grand Finalists - a bit rich even for you.
It would be a reasonable idea if you waited until you scored a Barclay Shield (or Money Shield) 30 before mouthing off again and again. I'm sure Elksy and most of the comp. agree.

Firstly, I will bag who ever I want, whenever I want. And if people take pot shots at my club, I will return fire. Secondly CowCorner and I are mates and he would have known that i was saying it tongue in cheek. But it was a comment made in reference to Lower ELtham rolling over and playing dead in the GF.
I have made over 30 in Barclay Shield, so thanks for asking. As for Elksy, couldn't give a shlt what he thinks. I don't know why he keeps being brought up???

Seriously..... There are 30 clubs in the DVCA, yet every year the rumours are always about Eltham. Can someone please make up something about another club?
As for Willo going to Lower Plenty, I doubt it. But don't know. I would say there are 3 options, and probably in this order. Stay at Eltham, Retire, go to Lower Eltham.

Who took a pot shot at your club? I just find it strange that you could twice have a crack at the Grand Finalists (even though they performed poorly) when your crumbling club have been relegated???

I don't know who Elksy is, just read it in an earlier post!!
I actually like most of the blokes at Eltham (apart from the leg spinner in the 2's) so no problem from here.

Gunna answer a few posts here.....
Hahah, Tongs, not going to dignify that with a reply, pathetic effort really, not much real grey matter put into coming up with that tripe, I am sure you would much rather be playing (yeah and losing) in a BS Grand Final that relegated to MS....anyway...I do agree that ECC seem to be the topic on here often, its not always a bad thing mate, most of the people on here know 85% of the crap on here is actually crap.
I am also surprised Elksey gets brought up here often, actually a great bloke and probably not very many better clubman around especially for his club.
Can't see an issue with Willo going to LP, interesting, out of the blue call but if the rumours are correct that they have lost a few and Willo has been coaching for many many years he way want to have one final crack. (or is this part of the 85%)
Anyway, keep up the gossip BigCricketers.....keep up the 85%...

The funny thing is, the "incident" and i use that word loosely, as it was nothing. Wasn't with Elksy and I, that was an after effect, yet there have been comments about him and i from people at other clubs?? go figure!
I'm not sure if i indicated that there was anything wrong with Willo going. If thats what he would like to do, then i wish him all the best, and Lower pick up a very experienced player/coach. It would just surprise me, that is all.
Surely people have heard rumours, one's that don't consist of ECC?

The only reason Eltham get brought up every 2 minutes is because you're the only one on here that will get on and bite at anything and everything that anyone posts.
I'm tipping most of what's posted on here is posted just to give you an excuse to get up on your soap box! It's actually OK for you to not reply to every single post regarding your club. I like the fact that you're willing to put yourself out there, but why worry about the stuff that you and anyone that matters at Eltham know is not true?
As CC said - 85% (if not more) of what is posted on here is garbage and I think anyone with half a clue knows not to take most of it seriously. Especially anything to Mark Minney or any other long serving player from any club. But you keep giving them ammo so the crap will keep coming!
I'll admit that I'm guilty of bring Mark up in this post-season, but it was only in reference to a bigger question regarding loyalty (which he obviously has in spades), I dunno maybe I started the whole thing off again. If so, my bad.
For the record, can confirm one departure from Mernda this year - Snowy's gone to coach Thomo United. Do us all a favour and PLEASE give him grief when you play him!!
Sorry to bring up Eltham again tongs! But further to willo question, seems that Lower Plenty might be a bit out there but has definately had contact with a few clubs includeing Nth Eltham. Seems they have a bit of a war chest and thought that if they got Willo, he could then get Skips to join him. I think Willo`s response was "why would I want to go to that club"!
Good old Snowy. Can`t be too many blokes at Thommo with much intelligence! I know a few people at Mernda quite happy though.

I will say one last time. I doubt and do not expect Skips to leave Eltham. Thats including if Willo goes somewhere. But wouldn't be surprised if Willo is selling himself to clubs (Which I am not saying he is). That would be a fairly large incentive to get will.
Don't worry Captain Cuzz. He was at Eltham too remember. I will give it to him.

If its who I think they are talking about then I agree with you Tongs, great bloke actually.
What a lot of people forget is; they know someone ON the field, actually have a beer and know them off the field and its usually a completely different story. I know that people have commented to me on players I play with, whilst I am not obliged to stick up for them as peoples opinions are their own I do say that you may need to meet them and have a beer to fully know them. Peoples on-field demeanour is much different to their real personality.

According to their website, Lower Plenty have appointed Julian Delahunt from Edinburgh Cricket Club as their coach. Looks like Willo missed out!

I suppose that all depends upon you getting a game in your Ones next season. I hear Eltham have picked up some handy players for next season and no walk up starts anymore.
