Holy fk this sh*t is boring.

I'd rather no one posted for 2 months than have to listen to this crap.

Jika boys/HDCA- fk off back to your own forum.

DVCA boys- there's gotta be some talk of movement (as is the name of the thread). Anything genuine to add? If not- shut up!

Huge news just off the press!!! Lower Plenty have just signed and sealed Mark (Dick) Emery as coach for the next 4 years. Great pick up for them, but didn`t know he was looking for a job can anybody shed some light on that? Look out the boys at Lower a big pre season coming up, he will sort out a few down there take it from me he is a hard task master but a great coach.

You are wrong with this one. Has not been appointed. Apparently the club is having meeting on Thursday to talk about two players who they are courting for the coaching job. Rumour has it that one of them is a former DVCA junior that has been playing district cricket and has strong ties with Diamo and the other is a current coach in premier cricket, but a former DVCA player

Michael Hill and Lloyd Mash? I assume somone at Lower won the $70mill last week.

aren't you an old olympic boy? your old club has played in both the associations you are attempting to bag, both those comps at their heights would be the equal of the DVCA's best, it ebbs and flows.
lets not forget its park cricket, the dvca is on top now but it hasnt always been that way.

maybe you need to look for the chips that were on your shoulders before you became a DVCA snob :)
No chips on my shoulders! I left Olympic when they merged with those dubious characters next door who used to inhale stuff out of plastic bags! Used to love my HDCA days though.

A very big player movement has apparently occured, and is a done deal.

Brent O'Conner from Banyule, who has had a very prestigious career (and likely to continue), with both bat and ball, as well as captaining the comp side has now signed with RIVERSIDE. I have an extremely good source that has told me this. Apparently regardless of what happens with Banyule, he would not be playing second division anywhere. He wants to play the top grade. Fair enough too.

Massive get by the clappers, and that should really strengthen their side in all facets.

Tongs if Brent leaves banyule which sounds likely do you think his brother will return back to you blokes? would be a handy inclusion for you guys I would have thought

Soca left Eltham purely to play with his brother Boca. He was always open with us saying that he would like to finish playing with Brent. So the fact that he is at Banyule now, and Brent gone to Riverside, I would be expecting Soca to either stay with Banyule, possibly go to Riverside to continue with Brent, or possibly pull the pin.

BUT I have no doubt that we will speak with him, and we would welcome him back with open arms. Quality bloke, and very handy cricketer to come back into the side, who could teach the younger guys a number of things.

ps. Its nice to talk Elthams recruiting/players etc when it doesn't revolve around Skips. I guess no one wants him any more. :D

You seem to put your nose in everyone's business. Whether that be Clubs or Associations. You must be revovling your life around this forum. The amount of posting i see coming from you. You could open up your on forum or blog site and talk about whatever you want on there. By the way have you dound out what Viewbank are doing yet??

POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK???

Didn't you say that you were leaving this forum and not coming back?

Mick Hill: Been playing with the Vic side a bit last year, and still cementing a good career as a player. He won't be seen around DVCA for many years to come.
Lloyd Mash: Assistant coach to the Renegades last year, and still going strong as a player at Fitzroy. Would doubt he would ditch that to come back to the DVCA, and if he does Eltham have priority under the Father/son rule ;)

Don`t where you get your mail from but it`s wrong! Mark Emery was announced coach at LPCC last night at the AGM.

I thought he was retiring alltogether and taking on a coaching role (I thought at Melbourne). Quickly spoke to him at presentation night and he said he was not playing elsewhere. At the end of the day he honoured his commitment to play at Research and did it for no $$!
Bit of an update. Adams overseas with work at the moment, but will be catching up with us next week for a chat.

another big move, STIX out of HCC! not happy with money shield, going to Rosebank very reliable source!
Looks like HDCA clubs haven't thought this through, first Occa now Stix! wouldn't want to be in money shield for to long!

Mr Optimistic who is this reliable source? i find it very hard to believe that Favrin would leave heidelberg.
Both players would be a massive loss if true

Pretty sure he won the hdca b&f in first grade in 10/11. Very good player
Quality batsman especially a proven finals performer. Destroyed us a few times back in the late 90's thats for sure.

Word is that Bundoora Park have withdrawn their application as well for those that are interested. Thats a shame as we played them in the regional 20/20 this year and they have some quality people involved in that club.

OCCA gone?? I know who will be lucky to stay in Money Shield, let alone survive. what did someone say about mearging! Their
juniors are terrible, should of been relegated two years in a row.

If Stix goes, no great loss his days are over as a topliner as we saw in the granny. Berger boys have sights on much bigger fish, shopping list starting to really get big. I hear they are offering huge $$$$ to X district players, and imports.
