ye i agree liam hunt a good bat but bowls ordinary from what ive heard.
y isnt Nick gedge in the top 5 RV players his a gun should easily make rep next yr and got ned taylor out for a duck he swings the ball a mile and can hit a good ball watch out for him.

u r very wrong about hunt he is a class act
he can bowl as good as he bats a very good player
ad yeah nick gedge is a very good player too but it shows u how much depth riverside have

what does everyone think of plentys chances next year??
a 3 man team they will be, mitch, joel and macca.
will Mitch be able to carry them to finals? Maybe even a flag?

its been done before when nick ross (absolute freak) did it for plenty a couple of years ago. They went on to be runners up because they relied to heavily on one player to make the runs in the big one which he didnt so they crumbled. For them to be any good mitch will need players consistently doing there job around him so he doesnt have to do everything himself.
whether or not there side will be as good as plentys was a few years ago i dunno :confused:

But along with Nick Ross didn't they have Dale O'Donnell and Josh Griffiths ??

Nick Ross seems to be doing alright in Carlton's First XI . Some may say he will go on to represent Victoria. Thoughts?

umm josh griffiths did play that year but odonnell didnt (was too old), the rest of there team wasnt too flash and most guys thought they were top sh*t but would never perform against a decent opposition and theyre best attribute was sledging whilst letting nick n josh do all the work with bat n ball.
mitch will just need some good support like ross got with griffiths and redmond and they will still find that they should be very competitve.

yeah it'll be an interesting one to watch next year, with joel donaldson and mitch firing they should be a shot at finals.

and the help of
tom goulding shane doherty jo langford sam james and anthony( dont know his last name)and mathew cottier.
dosnt hurt either!

Other tems are good aswell
St Franics with Lewis, dempsey and Teague
Thomastown with emmins and also crocket
are all good palyers but Luke Carrol is a machine from Wh could win a preimership of his own bat the kids has made 320 odd runs in 14s and his bottom age

Luke Carroll is a gun but its not 1 person the wins u a flag its 11 good cricketrs Whittlesea are coming eqaul last in the blue league this year and thats because they only have 1 good player when u look at the goodteams such a DC,RH,RV,STF,LP,NEW,TTU they all have atleast 3 or 4 good cricketers and the rest are just good honest cricketers, now wen u look at the bottom teams this yr u see they only have 1 maybe two good players
MY-Ned Taylor no 1 else WH-Carroll no 1 else YB-Mckeon no1
PH-Ruston Trist but thats it and so on
Now ill move onto a great team Macleod 3-4 no 10 stars 10 of there players played rep this yr but i guess thats also because they have a good relation ship with the DVCA While what i dont understand is how RV And RH only get 1 or 2 players picked is because of wer ya from
