very good batting performance by Collingwood and Straus they shown patience and batted smartly against the spinners, I think india hurt themselves by picking only 2 pacemen, the pitch has uneven bounce and these pitches can help pace bowlers just as much as spinners as shown by Flintoff and Harmison. Now that the lead is 248 with 7 wickets left england are in a position where they can take control, but they must ensure they get over the 300 mark and not collapse tommorow.

I very interesting 5th day ahead of us. India have managed to wrestle some of the momentum back their way, largely thanks to some poor English batting and the Sehwag fireworks.
256 in 90 overs with 9 wickets in hand is very doable. England need wickets in the morning session, India will be hoping to have wickets in hand to really attack it after tea.

Its all there for India to take really. 256 runs isn't that much to get in a full day and with 9 wickets remaining- they should get there- they just need one guy to go on and get a big hundred!

Dravid went early this morning for just four, he is really in terrible form. Gautam Gambhir fell to James Anderson a short time ago for 66.
India are 3/183, still needing another 204 runs. Still a very doable equation. Tendulkar is on 21, Laxman 0.

3/213 at lunch, behind by 174 runs. Laxman has done most of the scoring, making his way to 21, Tendulkar is 27 not out. India have been helped greatly by Extras who have started to up their scoring rate in the last few overs, that tally is now at 13.
Only 24 overs bowled in that session so not a particularly good over rate. 66 overs left today so India need to score at just under 2.64 runs per over to win.
Going to be a superb finish.

India chased down the 387 runs with 6 wickets in hand. Tendulkar scored his 41st Test century, finishing up on 103 not out. Yuvraj's test comeback was successful, making 85 not out in the second innings.
That was the 4th highest run chase in Test cricket history. A fantastic effort.
