Sri Lanka won easily and now lead the series 4-2 with one game to play. England were bowled out for 202. Root top scored with 55 but his dismissal signalled the end of any realistic chance that England had of winning. Woakes made 41 down the order which will do his World Cup chances no harm at all. Halfway through the last ODI, Sri Lanks made 6/302 from their 50 overs. Tillakeratne Dilshan hit a century, making 101, Dinesh Chandimal scored 55 not out and Thisara Perera exploded late in the innings, whacking 54 off just 26 balls.
