Time for a drink, and that has been much better from the Kandy Lions. Like we've said, the pitch has improved, and it carrying through straight at this point. That's tea, and the Kandy Lions have officially seized control of this match. A great example of patient batting from Blizzard and Metallica_ACDC who thought first of protecting their wicket, and second of scoring runs. They managed to do both and have guided the Lions' total to 148/2 at tea. One session to go today, and unless the Crusaders bowlers can pick up an armful of wickets, this match may be put out of reach before the end of the day.

Well, that was sh*t. A very poor effort with the bat after the top order set us up very nicely. Extremely frustrating but I thought 260 would be enough or at least make the game very interesting.

Obviously not. Not much application shown with the ball here, I have two wickets but that has been it.

Very, very disappointing effort. We will need another performance like the one against the Figjams in the semi-final reply if we are to win the game.

Well, a very disappointing end to the game. We were in a winning position and after having such a good lead with plenty of wickets in hand, only having a lead of 260 was just not good enough.

A lack of application with the bat which has hampered our middle order consistently for the last few games and has rotated between the top and bottom order.

We started off well with the ball but it fell away from there and the pitch ended being very good to bat on as the game went on.

Extremely disheartening since we were in a strong position not too long ago but we just threw the game away and it was a game we could have won.

But, a new season brings new opportunities and I am raring to go for season five. There will no doubt be many changes to the squad with hopefully a fresh new influx of players into the Crusaders team who will aid us in our quest to win a flag.
