all this talk about who is the better bowler and you have all gone past the best, the superfast journeyman himself, LES 'BEAR' THOMPSON. he's 1 of the 2 that are better than RICHO at thomy.

haha he nailed his fair share of them at the footy club reverse draw after he'd finished!
The whole ground is getting resurfaced with the drought proof grass so we were going to be off it till after Xmas anyway, we're hoping for it to be right to go after Xmas but being a hard wicket comp we may or may not get to play on it at all, depending on if the other teams are happy to play on turf, from our feed back most have no problem and are even happy to get on the mud. We'll have to just wait and see.
There is 6 couche wickets going in, they should be put in by the end of the week, all of the drainage and excavation is being done tomorrow and Wednesday. Then the council can start on the ground soon as we're finshed with the square.

We aren't out to make friends we're there to become the best team/club in the comp, which I have no doubt we will, we are aiming to be 1st XI & 2nd XI premiers and hopefully have the other grades playing off in grand finals!
