Renny24;229265 said:I can honestly say that I have never played for either Newtown or St Joeys, nor will I ever. St Joeys I have found are decent guys; only one tosser; Jason Stein; Newtown similar except for Ian Hastie. Possibly one of Geelong's finest. Hang on Tsitas did play at Newtown...
rightarmexpress;229196 said:bangladesh_8 how can u say chris cruckshank is underated? the guy has played most of his cricket in the 2nds n has played 3-4 games in the ones and he still showed nothing. brett anderton is a good bowler and isnt overated. brad hauenstein is easily the best getting around.
Bringbackwarney;229810 said:is the GCA draw out yet? what are the big games in round 1 if it is?
Babies Arm;229243 said:with a club like city, i bet they want nothing to do with sharkbite. im sure a few older heads would cringe at this joke that says his from city.
freddie1;229798 said:Yeah lets get rid of Sharkbite...i reckon its that kid who plays 2s at City. I think his name is Jared Bosely with the red hair?????
Can someone confirm how many 1 dayers there will be this year?
ants14;229253 said:wat do people think the under 21s side will be this year? probably best to leave out the younger guys who often don't play due to schooling committments
Bringbackwarney;229850 said:whats peoples thoughts on who will be the 4 premiership sides this season?
here's my tips:
GCA1: i think east belmont will beat south barwon
GCA2: id say thomson will beat manifold
GCA3: guild
BPCA: barwon heads will beat st albans again possibly.
feel free to have a go....
clearing pickets;230012 said:think dewwy is taking control of it again.
they will lose a few players.
O'Neil to skipper again with Mitchell Troy Vice Captain i would think, same as last year.
Hopefully they get a full squad to choose from and they stay off the beers on the sat night, not worth the 3 hour trip to Seymour again to watch them play if the opening bowler cant run in cos he is too hungover.
Some Probables:
O'Neil (Thomson)
Troy (North Shore)
Hodgson (St Joeys)
Fitzgerald (St Joeys)
Nguyen (East Belmont) *knee issues
Nolan (St Joeys)
Armistead (North Geelong)
McGuane (Colac)
Gove (Newtown)
Herbison (Barwon Heads)
Schaller (Barwon Heads)
Orvis (Queenscliff)
Feel free to add some from your club or others you know about

SHANEBOURNEorWARNE;229851 said:GCA Div1- i think it might be the year of the swan

interesting times ahead in bigcricket, would be nice if someone from east belmont land could confirm if drew and leigh are going around again there
norfolk and chance;229951 said:your grammar gives it away
SHANEBOURNEorWARNE;230031 said:maybe sam farnsworth (wherever he's playing) good side though

right arm medium;229482 said:There are rules to protect against this where juniors have to play I think 20 senior games at the club they played juniors at. I am not sure if it goes any deeper, or if it is only once they have played a senior game, but definitely see the point.
We had a lad playing juniors at our club and seniors somewhere else for money. (although only a little) I am not really sure how this happened, but it seems to be very wrong to me.
Bringbackwarney;230033 said:i think i read on the east belmont website that drew allen was asst coach to grant dew with quicky captain.
Bringbackwarney;230035 said:wasn't there something floating around in earlier posts that he was playing with u blokes?
