some clubs cant make money any profit because year to year they have to fork out hard earned or drunk cash on players. other clubs don't fork out this huge coin and you will find they have a tidy some of money to build up. Pretty much if you checked out each clubs bank account you would pretty soon find out who was paying big coin and who was not. maybe if these figures were released we would have a good indication of which clubs actually saved up there cash the right way !!

and city dont pay players anyway there all local boys and good clubman right SHARK BITE?

I dont know why clubs try and hide that there paying players, like thomson if your paying big doe who cares, you might get a flag out of it get put in div1 then smiljanic will be playing at airies inlet or stiglitz for $1 more.

You could always bring back boydo to bat in the middle order and have randell and wray charging in terrifying blokes!!!!

thought the jarvis story was bullshit when i heard it

dunno about smelly on big bucks tend to agree with norfolk and chance they have never paid out the big bucks so why would they start now.
he was desperate for a bit of cash upfront to pay for his flight overseas(which was a success) so i think they just got him at he right time. havent heard that any other club was prepared to throw huge amounts at him and he wasnt happy at torquay.

i seem to remember in a post a few pages back you said you have never had any association with thomson at all. i think your an ex thomson player with a grudge myself. prob got kicked out cos your a tosser.
if you live so close to city you should come past one saturday arvo in summer and score for us we need a new nuffy, the last one has gone to stalbans to play in there 1s.

i play 3 and 4th team for newtown, so hardly a cricket whore :D. some people might not like that i play for newtown but not too worry haha.
im very interested in the top grades but am no longer good enough or young enough to play there + its time to give the kids a go at newtown.
i just listen to alot of people in the know and make my own judgements from there
