Piss off back to the farm. You blokes deserve to be in Div 3 you all come out with your axes and cross bat the shit out of everything. Learn to play on turf and you might actually enjoy it.

You havent heard have you? there is a massive drought on, and sooner or later those turf wickets that are always ill prepared are going to be ripped out and replaced with concrete strips and a pitch that plays the same every week.

GO FROGS

Doing the rounds this morning.. checking out some pre season training down at gravel pits.. and furner avenue

From wat i seen..
Bell Post Hill at furner ave... Brad Stacey was there.. didnt train
North Geelong at furner.. Looked really young.. Colin Millard and Ross Aylmer were the only 2 there over 25
North Shore at furner.. Looked rather scratchy... Opposite of North Geelong.. Most blokes over the age of 30
NDCC at gravel pits.. not too many recognisable blokes.. alot of scratchy batsman
Thomson (i think) at gravel pits.. started as i was leaving.. didnt see smelly but had good numbers there

Thats because they train at Belmont activity centre thursday nights!

sure your not making this up????

I dont think Sheedy at his peak could coach his way out of a wet paper bag. Who could honestly say they could? Why would they be in a wet paper bag in the first place?

Would anybody know all the coaching appointments for Division three? Will Guild St Marys be competing in Div Three?

Guild won't be competing they will be smashing Div 3. Lost no one and kept everyone, should be too good. Corio Bay have Ben Whitehall coach
ing/capt. (no good), Teesdale & Winch will be OK, Bannock probadly struggle.

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

Second XI - no prizes for hitting me in the head at training in the half dark of the BVAC, ok? not that you could anyway! got me on the thigh pad last week. ooooo scary. @|

They won't come close to losing a game this year.

Guild should be in div2 ahead of murgey so div2 was all turf.

big call, leaving BPH 1st XI to play at Shelford. What grade does his Dad play, it must be 1st XI I assume. Which one is the quicker bowler ?

This is fact... he signed only last week. No murray or fegursson though, all rumours there

You have far too good a memory Rissole. So you must remember all the sixes you've been hit for on to the rooms in training over the years!

U getting any in England?

I have been hit for a few largies, couple down godfrey st also!
Bear used to hit me miles at training.
Averaging 40 odd with the bat and about 25 with the ball.
Heaps easier to bat thou as the grass isn't the same length as Geelong and you can get much better value for shots. Wickets aren't great, slow and tacky. Oh and it rains all the f*cking time, so that's a nuisance.

Re: Geelong Cricket '08/'09(gca/bpca)

Is there anywhere we can check on how clearances are going? like on local footy where you can check to see who's cleared, declined and pending?
