All bow to the turf clubs. we play teams on turf and still win. My 3 brilliant overs a week have taken me to the lofty heights of the Geelong Advertiser! All bow to Benny the Jett. Someone pass me a glass of milk.

You havent heard have you? there is a massive drought on, and sooner or later those turf wickets that are always ill prepared are going to be ripped out and replaced with concrete strips and a pitch that plays the same every week.

Manifold put out a good arvo tea, probably ate too much of it, as Zane carrol dismantled them with a marvellous 150. come back big zane, i miss my partner!
The Qantas club does alright too, as soon as i walk in they rush me into the first class section.

I dont think Sheedy at his peak could coach his way out of a wet paper bag. Who could honestly say they could? Why would they be in a wet paper bag in the first place?

I disagree there Bnichols.
Waurn Ponds had great afternoon tea.
However there wicket was rubbish.
Less time in the kitchen and more time on the roller!

I have been hit for a few largies, couple down godfrey st also!
Bear used to hit me miles at training.
Averaging 40 odd with the bat and about 25 with the ball.
Heaps easier to bat thou as the grass isn't the same length as Geelong and you can get much better value for shots. Wickets aren't great, slow and tacky. Oh and it rains all the f*cking time, so that's a nuisance.

You need to get out more, kicking people off big cricket doesn't worry anyone, they just start a new user name, or are you not smart enough to work that out yet?

so by going off last seasons effort, where not good enough, remembering we had atleast 6 players under the age of 21 last season in nearly every game.. we havnt lost anyone so the younger guys are only going to improve and learn more from each season??
