How old is Brendan hall ? i think if he plays he will make a few runs. And if i was a betting man harps will play ones this year, he is just talking shit about playing twos. Why do people rate him the best bowler in div1 < does being fast make him the best> Travis agg is a better bowler just lacks pace .

harps has lost 10kilos n is playing ones. hally can still push a ball down quick um not sure how old he is but yes he was quicker than harps in his day. if he plays he will kill it n i wuld hate to be on the recieving end of his batting or bowling.

Are you for real?

You have some guy who is not Barry and I would expect not even from Grovedale trying to make trouble and he suckers you in to write crap like this.

I am sure your team mates and president would be very proud of you for this. I have never had motivation in cricket like you are for me. Its kind of funny that I took my best figures in GCA in about 3 years after you had a go at me.... I am looking forward to round 50 or whatever Darren said it was.

So I take it your playing this year now?

yeah i think so. some bloke from melb that didn't play last year but looks alright. don't know what club he played for.... we got the bowling covered and batting looking alright too. could be an interesting year up at the hill!!!

Sort of unfortunately yes. It would have been great to bowl off a couple of steps in the 2's, protect the knees and help blood some new players, but have lost a couple of bowlers, and I feel that I need to play to be competitive.
Hopefully I last the season out.

I'm pretty sure thats state 2nd XI isn't it? I aint here to stick up for anyone but the facts just prove his done more.

Rep Vic/Aust at Under age level
Taken over 100 VCA wickets
and like i said state 2nd XI

and Harps has done what outside GCA? I do rate him as one of the best GCA bowlers but outside local cricket what has he done?

In the scheme of things, what is state 2nd XI? I think anyone who plays the game to a decent level, would say that Harper is a better bowler than Ando - Both quality though.

Settle down you blokes!!

Both are quality bowlers in their own right and to compare them is doing an injustice. I think both are match winners when they are on song but both can also be negated to attack the bowlers from the other end. They would be a dynamite combination bowling together in a representative side like country week, but with harps' knees crook, I don't think we will see that. Ando is better at sledging though.:)

I guess state 2nd XI is still testing yourself a bit more than GCA, It does say he was in the top 25 bowlers in Aust outside the Aust side at some stage.

And surely the VCA wickets must count for something?
I just recken if you havn't been and tested youself you never know, Harper one day will wonder what if? unlike Ando i guess because he had a crack at it.

Most people I've spoken to say they rather face Harper than Ando!
