A couple of season ago Matt Caulfield thought it was a good idea to sledge Craig Whealan why he was batting after it went back and forward for a bit the tea break came and Wheals grabbed Caulfield to ask if he wanted to continue???
funny enough he didn't and went white as a ghost:eek:, his teammates where nowhere to be seen to back him up either, prob a smart move.

I remember that day bourney. I was playing in the c grade across from that game and saw them starting when we came to break. I know whealan is a big unit and obviously can blue being his past and everything but i know for a fact caulfield did brazilian jiu jitsu. He did it with my brother when he was younger. And have no doubt he can still go when he needs to even tho he is very unfit and a lazy ********. Sorry matty but u know its true  Can play cricket tho. Did anyone see him and ferguson at drysi last year in the super 7's? Was good to watch.

Lenny Unsworth chasing people into the rooms at Thomson after the game. Think Shane Warne or Bourne was on the receiving end and he was only about 15!
Was it Lenny or Phil that broke Aldermans shoulder all those years ago?

I don't think Doris's mental or physical scars will ever heal!

What about that tool from Torquay that started hitting people with his bat in the 2's at Godfrey Street - Noel something. He got let off completely!

Yes he did get let off completely he's name was Noel Kelson and he is a school teacher, also was a runner at Geelong Football club a couple of years ago, mates with Paul Couch.

Thomson sounds like fight club haha!
Morrison's were involved, unfortunately i was about 12 and can't remember much, ozzyboogs or pencil in 11 could fill in the gaps.
Saw the Unsworth vs Bourneorwarne confrontation, Bourne smashing Unsworth around everywhere at Godfrey St then Unsworth took it to heart after a few cheeky words from Bourneorwarne, things escalated from there.
At the time it was pretty scary but looking back now it's rather funny, have the scars healed Mr Bourne?

lenny was batting, not bowling. and, being lenny, not taking the sledging he was receiving very well threatened a few blokes, then chased them into the rooms and hit 2 or 3 blokes before he was dragged off.

He is a knob.
He was my school teacher. He played a few games of footy for Torquay and Newtown and has the worst case of white line fever ever.

My first game of 1s was against Thomson and Gary Anderton went out LBW and abused everyone on his way off and then got in his car and left still yelling out abuse.

You obviously weren't there because he was bowling and I should know the story because I was batting. And he didn't chase anyone anywhere, he went into the Thomson change rooms and started laying into Doris while everyone else was shaking hands.

Saw Ty Watts go psycho in a game once about 8 or so years ago. Was playing for BPH 1sts against the bottom side and they lost. He was bowling his off-spin when the wining runs were hit. On the last ball of his over, he went back to a fast bowlers' run up; ran in and threw the ball at the batsman's head. Needless to say, the game deteriorated from there.

Anyway has anyone got a good cricket dust up story??
I've seen a few over the years one that stands out was when I was watching a game between Highton and Thomson, and there was a decent punch up in the middle between a Thomson bloke and the Highton boys, can't remember who exactly was involved think it might of even been one of the Morrison's playing for Thomson. Anyone from either club remember this??

on the money there, it was leigh morrison and heath walsh

yeah your correct there mate, i was 17 at the time playing and walsh gave leigh a send off that wasn't needed as the heat had won the game quite easily and leigh was last in and if you seen him bat there was never gonna be a big last wicket partnership. he didnt take the send off to well and they came to blows. also to another post i was on the receiving end to that great nob noel kelson from torquay, give me a shirt front in front of the umpy at the non strikers while watching the ball after my follow thru and then as the change of ends, 1 of our players (gary whitcombe) called him a weak dog for giving cheap shots and then kelson whacked him with the bat, thought there was gonna be a death as players had to rush in and hold the big fella back.

Campbell looked pretty sharp. Hard to really get a good gauge on the bowlers as was on hard wicket tho, they all bowled a fair bit of trash. They all whinged about how hard it is to play on hard wicket decks :D pack of whinging spoilt little boys! :D

Moore indeed was a no show, am convinced he doesn't actually exist.
