It ain't a rumor it's fact he was blind drunk and by all reports bowled pies today and showed the effect of a hangover big time:(

I hope that south nip this in the bud quick smart because if they take themselves as a serious flag threat they should drop him next game and set an example or it will be open slather and they can kiss their season good-bye.

They must of drank a shitload between 6-11pm then from all reports:rolleyes:

BOWLED PIES........ i walked off thinking i couldnt have bowled any better. but u know more about bowling than me then. I feel the best ive felt for years and ive got 1-1 and 0 wickets. its just the way it goes. if any one wants to question me about the wicket and outfield at newtown, feel free to.

im sure dazza will put in his report. the outfield at newton was first class. lightning fast and only a 50m boundary to the clubroom side.
the wicket was FLAT, not one blade of grass, the ball was chewed up by the 10th over and by the end looked like a dogs toy.
Tough day for bowlers

yeah I am not sure if bowling Pies is correct. A bit unlucky early on with a decision or two and a tough chance missed in the field. I wish I could bowl my pies with such pace and bounce as what Ando bowled on the weekend !! Although I reckon I would have him covered in the "remain calm at all times" category !!

Keep yapping it up losers!
Why are we copping it off all you nobodys?

I give us a great chance of chasing these runs Saturday remember they have no bowlers without Murray playing, if we get a decent start we're a big chance.
As for the other grades well they struggled we do have over 25 unavailable this round which doesn't help.

cheers TTP, i didnt realise i had people from bigcricket following me around counting my beers.
one thing is for sure, i can 100% guarentee that when i wake up, there is no hang over whinge as soon as i pull into the ground its all cricket.

as for people not liking me at south, im sure they would tell me to my face and if not well its up to them. the improvement in the club since ive been at sbcc has been fantastic, everyone works together and people miss out on games, others probably should play higher, but we consider if you are a turf player or a 7ths player you get treated the same way.

i love hearing bout all my clubs ive had...... Thomson, Geelong and South im not sure where the get there info from but if GCC101 would contact me and let me know who he is then i would gladly have chat. (next people will ad all the rep sides) Get a life people i will be at south all year and years to come:cool:

Dont worry big fella, knob heads like that need to come to the break and sort this out and see if he can write on this forum with his fingers up his arse. . .

Don't sniff the G strings you find under the trees after 3pm, no one likes sushi

todays best bet: thomsons ledgendary j. bowman to moe down 27 cans then go out and pick up a tank of a sheila and take her back to his palace and the great babbalicious not far behind on a fast finishing 25 cans, seen him early in the day and he is off to the cup for a couple

Stacca was at Spring crnival and Trave faulkhead had a wedding, as for moreland, has been talked up to bowl quick but not quick just honest medium, handy for the panthers. undermanned BPH. . .

Let's just talk real cricket fellas
here then http://www.bigcricket.com/forum/f155/

Anyway I went to a Barwon Zone meeting tonight for the T20 comp, it isn't going as we thought it had in earlier posts.

The team representing the region are:

Grovedale
South Barwon
Guild
Waurn Ponds
Irrawarra Beeac
Alvie
Barwon Heads
St Albans

All teams were put in a draw with the exception of the Colac teams who will play each other due to the distance of travel to Geelong.

The teams were seeded from 1-6 with GCA1 premiers being one and BPCA runners up being 6. Teams were drawn randomly out of 2 hats with seeded teams 1-3 and 4-6
So the draw ended up like this with the toss of a coin to determine the home side.

VB T20 DRAW 2008/09

Guild v South Barwon on Sun 9th November @ Guild
St Albans v Waurn Ponds on Wed 12th November 5pm @ breakwater
Grovedale v Barwon Heads (unsure on when and where)
Alvie v Irrawarra Beeac

The winner will advance to play semi finals at Grovedale and South Barwon and the Final at Geelong.

A colleague at work told me there's been more than one problem with Babbsys drinking since he came to South. I got told told on good mail that this is the case, the person who told me plays with your club.

Care to let us know what these things were Babies Arm?
