Was a strange move from McCullum. Sure good attacking cricket got them to the final, but he just went ridiculously overboard in the big one.McCullum's reckless cavalier approach was always going to fail against the world's best bowling

Well tell that to Steyn and Morkel... I would have said they were the best before the tournament.. McCullum destroyed Steyn in particular.
Okay...that third delivery that bowled him, this is how it went: the ball was delivered and his natural instinct was to attack but he quickly realized it was a yorker and he tried to block it but missed. Many many batsmen in the world would have been bowled by that 150k swinging yorker, no matter what their approach was (especially in the first over of their innings!).
I didn't totally agree with his approach in the tournament either. I think he's a better batsmen than that but then again, why change an approach that had worked all tournament?
