Grenville Cricket Association

Re: Grenville Cricket Association

id like to be the first to congradulate linton blue on their excellent recruiting work over the last couple of years. not only have they succeeded in attracting quality players to the club, but also quality people.

a couple of prime examples of this are andrew "ill coach your cricket club but i wont come to training or play any games" griffen and jamie "im a bit short on cash can i spot a fifty? hey what's that behind you!? glug glug glug" scott.

with these quality people leading the club, the future sure is bright for the blue baggers.@| @|

gee which tree have you been hiding in koala everyone no's who i am i'm the other half to nick i'll probably end up getting rich managing him and doing his off feild events! your probably from carranballac guessing from the name!

nicks other half?????

i know there's always been rumours that they don't mind a bit of cousin on cousin action out in snake valley, but two brothers dating each other seems a little extreme even for out there.

is it just a casual fling muppet or do you think it could move into something serious later on down the track?

I recently went to see a local bookmaker and he gave me sum interesting odds on the current cricket season on who would win the premieship they were as followed: Rokewood $4 Smythesdale $12 Illabarook $40
Carngham $5 Linton gold $20
Linton blue $8 Carrenballic $100
whats peoples thoughts on these odds? im shaw sum sides prices have changed since rd.1!

yes definalety woodsy... i can understand why linton gold is up there due to some handy recruits. and also ill congratulate laurie parker for his 103. keep on makin them laurie and the ladies will be chasin ya!!!

heres my odds... Rokewood $3.50 Smthyesdale $4.00 Carngham $6.00 Linton Blue $ 8.00 Carranballac $60.00 Linton Gold $80.00 Illabarook $85.00. some people will prob disagree cos i am a half wit in the cricket world

Obviously Dave Parker doesnt believe in this after what he has been saying about the O'Brien Brothers and Zac Wilson move into town just because he wasnt good enough or wasnt asked (we all know its the first one) he has to bring every one down because off it just another example of the "me me me" mentality which gets cricketers nowhere! |@

correct you are, young muppet.
but correct me if im wrong, but was it dave parker who pounded out the dirty comments when a valley senior player left carngham and he started saying that it was un valley like. but dave if your pea brain can spare a few seconds, wasnt it you who left snake valley this year to go to linton gold. i have nothing against linton gold or any other team in the grenville league, but when you are the one making the main sledging comments and then leave like the people before you, there is such room for a little hurt. tears*

Re: Grenville Cricket Association

was there any cricket played today? carngham game was a forfeit from illabrook.. no wonder laurie made a tonne.. they couldnt field a side against us so they must of had there 10 year old juniors playin.

it seems everyone is getting back on track with their cricket here, but seriously why have a go at someone when they make a century, its a bit rough. i kow it probably was an easy task to make runs that game, even laurie would probly say, but in anyones retrospect its a pretty good effort to make that many runs. whether it be against a grade ballarat cricketers or a afgahn under 10 reserves side. a centurys a century....o and sorry but mupet 3 has actually made more runs that that now already in the season.

a hardly agreeable decision to put such wide odds on this early in the season. i went on nab sportbet and gave them information about our season and its winners and losers ans they gave me back some extremely handy tips.

Rokewood - $3.20
Carngham - $5.80
Linton B - $6.40
Linton G - $37.00
Illabrook - $54.00
Carranballac - $21.00
Smythesdale - $4.00

I was also told to expect a late season fade out from smythedale, which would give linton blue or carngham a chance to make the two. rokewood will hit the top of their game mid season, but halt suddenly with a loss to one of the worse teams. but the surprise was to hear carranballac was going to come home very strong and almost defeating rokewood in the further season

Oh my god you've found me out! How did you put the pieces together? Did I give it away when I started this forum and then told everyone to come on here? Wow great detective work, another mystery solved Sherlock Holmes.

this thread is turning from a cricket website to a "who killed cock robin" murder mystery, where everyone seems to be hiding behind a fake name. it truly shows the vocabulary and range of grammar from the snake valley boys, who would usually take english lessons by trying to make conversations out of bowls of alphabet soup
