Sri Lanka has been very strong during this world cup there top 3 batting has been great with Dilshan making multiable tons this world cup and Kumar being the first to score 4 consecutive 100s in ODI's if they keep this form going they will be hard to beat. Australia i think are doing pretty if all of the aussie batsmen get in form and Johnson can find his groove again i think they will be a handful for any team heading into the quarter finals. Bangladesh have been surprising this world cup i have to be honest i didn't think they would qualify but them beating England to solidify there spot and send England home was amazing.

Kiwis got home alright.

Hopefully the Australia v Scotland game down in Tassie tomorrow isn't affected too much by the rain in the forecast.
 
England beat Afghanistan in the other game today, the match was reduced to 25 overs with Afghanistan batting first and scraping to 7/111 from 36.2 overs with rain cutting their innings short. In reply England cruised to the victory target of 101 with nine wickets in the shed and 41 balls to spare.
 
Clarke won the toss and opted to bowl. Though he might have wanted to bat to get some more time out in the middle for some of his player but the rain around I guess changed his mind.
 
What an absolute joke, if this game is washed out Sri Lanka move ahead of Australia even when we have a superior NRR because they have more wins.
