Typical childish reply from an ignorant moron. That is my opinion and i stand by it for years clubs like Heidelberg, Banyule and even Rosebank have thought they are great clubs and teams within their comp but when Rosanna lead by example and try to challenge the Money everybody cracks the sads; why? Because you all intimiated by the Money Shield and DVCA becuase you are no longer big fish in a tiny pond
Look At What Camrea did to your intimiated Money SHIELD they ripped it apart with only have their best Side 1 bloke took 90 wickets that says something about what the standard might have been like. So i could only wonder what a team like Rosebank would do to Mill PArk and the rest of the MONEY SHIELD TEAMS.

Greensy and Mac were POWERHOUSES of your comp and they came to our comp where are they now?
End of the day, if HCC, Rosebank, BCC and ECC are to come into OUR comp they should start at the lowest in a modified 3rd division and as the years progress move up the table- if they can.

Surely they will head back to Jika, considering the travel factor i dont reckon they would go to those lengths to play, let alone in 2nd division.

They were powerhouses interms of their size, number of teams, etc, not their on-field performances. Greensborough didn't make the finals their last season in the HDCA and Macleod never won an A grade flag. Since they left for the DVCA both clubs have roughly halved in size so, from an outsiders point of view, it doesn't look like a successful move. Both clubs have had their junior teams reduced frmo 8 to 3.
I know people whio played in MS this season who have no doubt that Rosanna will romp through it next season.
If you saw the post earlier buddy it'll be a better standard than Money Shield. Enough said
Greensy and Macloed weren't powerhouses in A grade greensy in there last year at HDCA they didn't even make finals and Macloed were the same they used to barely scrape into finals. They left because they thought they were too good for HDCA because they had a heap of junior and senior teams. The real Powerhouses in Banyule HCC and Rosebank who consistently win flags and make finals year in year out wouldn't bother in a comp like yours. Camrea was a real Powerhouse because they would always play off in Grand Fianls against Rosebank in Jika and they proved that even their half Full Strength Team could Destroy anyone in Money.

jikaone, with all due respect, i dont care who you played footy with as a kid, this is big CRICKET. They haven't had juniors for years, so they may have had one or two seasons with locals, but they if they didnt start at rosebank they had to start somewhere else, cos i dont think many play their first ever games of cricket in A grade. As for who is better, its simple seasons change, the rosebank of 5 years ago is better than the one now, same for plenty, prob same for Keon Park....i just hope the DVCA can sort this mess out, they started the talk last year, then pulled out of it..OR the NMCA and HDCA take them on, which they should!

and you call me the ignorant moron. now i know you're joking and just trying to get a reaction. rosebank would just about win barclay let alone start in a third division. stay in your dvca bubble because you clearly are the most dullest and deluded of individuals in terms of your knowledge on hdca cricket... and you're a virgin.
also clubs like greensborough faded away, the lost all there juniors because they had to play saturday morning junior cricket. the demise of g'boro isn't because they met a better standard of cricket it is in the fact that they were and are poorly ran.
rosebank are still divided on where they will play but i would be pretty confident in saying that the DVCA is not where they will be.
You know what they call blokes who don't have knowledge about what there talking about these days "MONGOLOIDS"

It is fantastic to see passion amongst these young lads about their competition, we could use some of this passion in our lower grades with you sub-standard clubs. The proof is in the sweet pudding and those clubs slowly halved in numbers because they tried conquering the might DVCA and were met with a wall of resistance.

don't for a second think that moneybank will be joining us in the DVCA, it will be too much of a hike for them, and their pres wont be able to have any influence as the comp is too well run!! However, their facilities are first class for any form of local cricket, i went for a drive down cotchin way and the ground is immaculate. As for the pitch, it is one of, if not the best i have seen/played on. Any conformation to the rumour that presidents from the clubs have been asked to take over the running of the HDCA i.e moneybank's and HCC's??

Cotchin is the best surface in the Northern Area and the pitch is as good as sythentic decks get. From what i believe the HDCA in its current form has folded and all clubs but Dirk Xanthos are in limbo, Xanthos has moved to DVCA

2 piece ball back then, things have changed a fair bit since..you'll be surprised how tough the comp is.

there is pitch is the best in the northern area, there surface maybe as good as others if not better at the moment, but the surface is not permanent!!! the rooms are shocking, the nets even worse, its one of the worst viewing grounds and you have to worry about your car getting nicked all day....hardly 1st class facilities!

Do you enjoy cricket or do you enjoy hiding behind a computer slowly enticing other forum-goers with your masterfull use of **. I have a proposition for you, Disk Jokey Yallah, why waste your time on a petty forum when you could drive down Yan Yean and pretend to bowl and bat on the grounds that you could only dream of playing on.
