As stated previously both players would eat their own head then play for rosanna. Yes because fat boy sheehan and houssam both came to rosanna on their own accord did they? "Throw" in Slater as well as big chins raywood it appears you have been spending up quite a bit to get your flags
Very interesting reading here, I am a long time reader, first time poster and a keen HDCA figure. I was wondering if there was any truth in the rumours i have heard recently that both Tom and Will Gelling are off to Heidelberg CC. The reasons i heard were a bit sketchy but seeing as though Mick Kamay the keeper is set to play at Nortcote CC next year i think the spot of WK is open and Will was more than happy to come over, is there any truth in that rumour? Also i heard Rosanna CC spearhead Ben Skeggs is off to Macloed CC for some cashola?
No the Kamay to Northcote is defintely not true, he won't commit to it, he'll definitely be seen at warringal park.
Will and Tom won't be playing at Heidelberg, will either be playing at Viewbank or Edinburgh apparently.
Skeggs offered cash to Macleod, heard that as well and also heard that he is pretty much there - wouldn't exactly call him a spearhead though.
I also heard to Macleod offered James Allery (Rosebank) and Marcus Kerneghan cash as well in order to bolster there brigade of younger men. And Apparently Ridewood to the Crazy Bears. Anyone heard simular things or anything else of interest?

Thats a big statement their sanna considering that your 2s were less than impressive to say the least. Considering how the 1s panned out i would have thought the 2s would have been up there but after the result which was produced at the end of the season the depth of Rosanna CC might be a little light especially after the ???? of young players like Nick Hosford and Marcus Vethecan. Does this mean someone like Cameron Douglas and Chirag Bhargava might have to be put in the Spotlight next season if these 2 decide to turn corners and head towards maybe a Krazy Bear direction as they have good friends down their in Shane Doherty and Co. As Far as i see it outside of your 1s the other grades might find it hard to put on a show as they were awfully dissapointing this past seasonAllery, Kerneghan and Ridewood wouldn't get a game in our 3rds!! getting cash?? for old man Kerneghan to take photo's!!

Not sure whats going on all i know is that sources have revealed to me that M Wayman and A Renwick could be packing their bags to Macloed as there has been a big push form them to pick up young players and see some sort of potential in these 2 valued cricketers. Can anyone confirm what Macloed might have offered these 2. They seem to be trying to pick up everyone at the moment who's next Henry TylerIs the HDCA going to merge with JIKA or are clubs going to go to the DV? From reading this forum i can't tell whats going on!!! arghhhh

Wouldnt have thought both those players would be offered, but if i were MCC i would throw some cash at Skeggs. Are you still barking i thought you were laid to rest like Big Papa Smurf. You imbecile the M/C is the one that kept this comp alive for so many years which Rosanna was in. Where was Peter Hodder and Gary Carlton in the time of Crisis sitting in their corner with there lips firmly sealed up. I'm glad for the M/C we had if it was one of Rosanna blokes who was the M/C this comp would have been done and dusted the day Macloed left the Comp and half of the HDCA clubs would have folded because of no where to go.Don't know about the mearge, the M/C are trying to work out if it suits their own clubs first!!! and then they will decide

I don't really give a hoot about ECC and the goings on their we all know how they are up their enough said. All i want to know is the spark of money from Maloed going to result in success on the field. Looks like their going after some bowlers. Renwick and Skeggs would be a very big plus in to their bowling and Wayman would be a reserve player for their 2s and maybe their 3s depending on how they see him as a no 7 or 8 bat or 4th change bowler. On to another topic what do people think of Chris Branigans future as captain/coach of Edinburgh CC i've heard rumours that the hierachy at the club are fed up with no A-GRADE results, no doubt doing fantastic work in the lower grades but is he worth all that money they pay him to be captain/coach of the ECC?

Wow Renwick and Skeggs though what a fierce opening pair they would be at any club! I doubt their respective mother clubs would let them go lightly though. Alongwith VCC and HWCC will EISCC have a team in A grade next year? If not surely Paul Wilson would be highly sought after by the bigger clubs; perhaps Rosebank? Could easily open the batting in A grade for an club, thoughts..

Where did you pull this one from because who is PAUL WILSON. Never heard of this person.
