Bingo, not sure where you get your mail but you are on the money, although he is not assistant coach he will still be a handy inclusion!!
Speaking to a few boys at the footy on Satdy and apparently you have already started pre season training on your own, will this year be the Year of the Roosters?????

yes this is true ferret....i think the comp will be quite surprised when they see the amount of young roosters running around on the park for the bergers this year....2008/09...the year of the TIGER CUBS!!

Re: HDCA cricket forum

apparntley grindal has given smout his marching orders and smout is now looking to the pre-season draft unless a suitable trade comes up....after all he is an A Grade premiership player and does average 40.3....byes per game, and 7.6 runs with the bat!!

my tip......smout to west ivanhoe in a straight swap for the big bad bustling dave bullock!!

(fezza u coming to the clinic this week at preston? 9.30am start...bring the kids for a few photos and autographs with the big raging cageing pants slaying bingo after the game!!)

Re: HDCA cricket forum

Ah, Bingo, everyone knows Smout is Grindies love toy, he wont be going anywhere soon.

Dont see you mentioning your batting average, in fact I have a challenge for you for the season ahead, get your batting average above your bowling average and I will supply you with a slab of Carltons finest. @|

Re: HDCA cricket forum

Rumour going around the traps is that HDCA have failed in picking up clubs for new season and have gone back to Jika to ask for merger again. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

And if so what sort of a position does it pur hdca in when they knocked back proposal a year ago and now go crawling back?

We dont go crawling to anyone champ!! what a turn off jika is.. playing at keon park with 8 grounds around you.. olympic colts, Northland trotting park... no thanks champ.i 'll retire!!!!

Re: HDCA cricket forum

Shane Warne get your head out of your clacker, If the HDCA asked for another meeting with Jika so what, if it means that the two join forces and make it a super comp don't you think it would make for better cricket.

You obviously have not seen many other Jika grounds other than the 3 you mentioned. Granted the trotting track isn't the best set up but no A B or C grades play there only D grade and below, As for Donath reserve where Keon Park play there is no better atmosphere than when all the grounds are playing, there are 5 seperate grounds on the main Donath oval's then across the road there are 2 seperate oval's so getting your facts right first would help and they have the best playing surface in the comp.

As for grounds you certainly haven't seen then Camrea, Rosebank, Northcote Utd's, Preston Baseballers, Preston YCW all excellent grounds and i'm sure that the HDCA have some great grounds as well in which i can't comment on as i don't know your grounds
