Re: HDCA Juniors 2009/10

It would appear that one Murray White did a fair bit of team de-construction of Heidelberg 2s last weekend.

O M W R
M White 15 7 4 22

Not too shabby at all! :)

Re: HDCA Juniors 2009/10

if district 3s standard is better than a grade how come mitch hand is playin district 3s. he couldn't get a game in heidelberg A grade. Dan northcote rang me up at least 5 times asking me to play in there 3s last season. I presume you couldn't get a game in melbourne's 4s. So maybe you should think about what you say before you have a crack at me. I don't brag about myself i just have a go at guys who brag about themselves. You guys talk about how you made the falcons and all that stuff. I used to get non stop phone calls askin me to play. As if i have to knuckle down i'm not the one who goes from 1st grade one game then 2nd grade next game then 3rd game the following game

Good god man.......

And the problem is?

Also at least one of the wickets looks capable of good batting according to his stats. And another looks like he is capable of batting to some degree.
Particularly of the remain two wickets that obviously are not batsmen, I would suggest that Murray has done exactly what he should have, if he is bowling full and at the stumps!

If Murray keeps getting wickets at a fair average into the future it can be considered your ongoing comments have some other motive. At the moment his stats look as good as any other good junior bowler.

ALL SEASONS, ALL GRADES (including senior games)
Matches - 65
Overs - 339.2
Maidens - 84
Runs - 1012
Wickets - 73
5 W/I - 3 (all senior games)
Best Bowling - 6/19
Average - 13.86
Strike Rate - 27.89

With the same number of senior games under his belt, but less total games played the highly regarded biscuit, the Heidelberg junior bowler in the same age group, does not have as good stats as this. This is no denigration of biscuit's performance, merely a reasonable comparison. So why does Murray cope it so much from you guys?? Leave him alone and let him enjoy his cricket. I suspect he is no different to any of you, except I am pretty sure he has not been on this forum ridiculing any of you or anyone else.

Re: HDCA Juniors 2009/10

Big Muzzas figures were a tad decieving from Friday. Im sure he'll take them though coz thats cricket. LBW that went down leg side and Muzza didnt even appeal it. Bowled wide at times but so did the other royboy bowlers and why wouldnt you if the pitch is as wide as a road and the ump lets the keeper field ya deliveries in front of 2nd slip. Onemoreover is right though Muzz has got good stats that compare better than some of his critics. Greensys 144 at the end was a good result after a slow start with a 50no from newboy Saunders and another one from some 14yo kid. Should win but hope the City of Yarra hasnt mowed the grass this week.

Re: HDCA Juniors 2009/10

they mowed it for you i think, the city of yarra is doing a poor job
murray has bowled alright, economical, dot ball pressure, until he gets killed, dont hang it on him, i have to say, i reckon he does edge out biscontin, bowls on the one side of the stumps at a quicker pace, more of a threat.
and those figures are very enviable, would be happy with that

Re: HDCA Juniors 2009/10

from murray's figures he looks like he bowls alright he should play A grade and bowl to bubbles oka chicken man, aiden and plumpton. See how he goes against those bats

I suspect all in good time, Freak. Even most of his critics aren't ready for that. Yet I would not be surprised at Mr. White being willing to accepted the challenge if it presented tomorrow. Since he cops the crap he receives on this forum on the chin and keeps fronting up each week without any grumbles (publicly), he obviously has a bit of goer in him. At the right time, he may get the opportunity to take on your suggestion, who knows? Good luck to him I say.

cheers

mate biscuit has played 40 odd games and taken 62 wickets in only 2 seasons. mate that's better than murray

Re: HDCA Juniors 2009/10

In the U17s I think Burgers have the upper hand at the moment against Monty. Not at all familiar with the Monty bowling capability though, except for Larcom-Cooper if he is still bowling spin. It is a pity that the burgers are not exactly at full batting strength with Nicolosi missing according to the web team list.

So the question is, will the all conquering DVCA U16 1s Blue premiership side of last season (same player list) have the goodies to beat such a strong side as Heidelberg?

They will have to be at their best I suspect and also play smart cricket, after posting what appears on paper as a mediocre, yet potentially defendable total, last week. Should be interesting indeed.

he is an alright player, definetly overrated, but he is a crap bloke and thinks too much of himself.
