what is with all the petty insults thrown around here ? why dont you all just back up your mouths on the field, let the bat and ball do the talking.

very very true mate, we just want to know who these boys are so we can see the they actually can back it up on the field.

Re: HDCA Juniors

a massive shame to all after a young erik lindaberg retired in the season of 05.
averages and amazing .8 in his amazing career.
but as erik was about to make his way to superstardom his ellustrious career was cut short when he was fielding at cover and a young under 12 bat from east ivanhoe lobbed a catch to him where he was viscous struck in the throat by a ball travelling at an asstounding 2.38 kmph, erik couldn't breathe for a good miniute. that day, right then and there at heidelberg park he vowed that he would never walk on a cricket field again in fear on another lobbed catch at cover.
such a shame for the hdca

what a great bloke

will be remembered in our hearts always
R.I.P Eric

R.I.P Erik
the only thing he has left with us is the memory of when he made the punishing 3.. his highest score for his favourite side heidelberg
he came to the crease with the ball still looking pretty new and hard..
when he was on 1 no after french cutting it down to fine leg for 1. he was hit in the chest with a viscous half tracker coming at a rapid 28 kph. after picking himself up off the deck where he had lay for a good 5 minutes trying to get the wind back into him. he went on the make another 2 which was an edge over the corden which saw him bravely come back courageous 2.
he was then comprehensivally bowled next bowl.
we will always love you eric:eek:

who do you think?
in all seriousness i think the best bat is seb nicolosi, as a 1st year under 15 playing 17 gold and making runs, he's just a star.
