Is the lunchbreak negatively affecting the standard of play?

It has come to my attention over the first few weeks of the season that too much is been eaten at lunch and the standard of cricket is suffering as a result particularly from the fielding side...

At xaviers vs carey on the weekend matt yeo was incapacitated in the field after he ate far too much subway and jelly beans during lunch and it no doubt was the reason he bowled terribly..

How can we address this? Maybe the coaches need to put a limit on the amount of food been eaten because it would be a shame to see another incident like the one i saw on the weekend..

I think the volleyballer is just jealous of the cricket lunches and the fatty wants more to himself

As a matter of fact i noticed the same thing! this thread is highly respectable and much better than some of the other rubbish that is displayed in this forum! pupisgod i think you should get over yourself and it seemed obvious that on the weekend you ate before you went out and batted early on as the food must have got stuck in your throat at 49.

everyone should be allowed to join in the lunches at cricket..... all except for volleyballers for it is not a 'real' sport

Re: Is the lunchbreak negatively affecting the standard of play?

i agree everyone should be allowed except volleyballers and red heads

well then why isn't everyone allowed?? this is a serious issue and a blight on aps cricket...im sick of seeing players like matt yeo come out bloated and bowl accordingly its not in the spirit of the game...if the food could be spread around more this could be addressed

the incredible thing is that yeo still managed to bowl 9 overs and take 1/33 which says something if the kid doesn't eat this saturday geelong should watch out!
