Yuvraj could've been the captain of India ahead of Dhoni, if it weren't for his playboy reputation and worked a bit harder. He's definitely not overrated when it comes to his capabilites, both batting and fielding. He doesn't really have much to prove to others as far as his capabilities are concerned. But do capabilities guarantee output? Of course, not. I can give you tons of examples of people (from cricket, other sports as well as in general) with great capabilieis whose output was hindered compared to what they were capable of. Yuvraj exudes arrogance, which is good when he can back it up with his actions.
