James Bett (MGS)

James Bett (MGS)

Would be the number 1 spinner in the comp and making vic 17s bottom age proves this. Very good accuracy unfortunately has red hair. what are others thoughts.

Re: James Bett (MGS)

Not just his red hair lets him down but his loud mouth does not shut up. Suprisingly he has only the one vote in the "top bloke" poll and that was from you, Thestraighter1, his biggest fan. "Good from you Betts"

By the way is this Ayton Eldrige? can any scotchies please confirm this?

Re: James Bett (MGS)

the straighter1 isnt ayrton eldridge. he is someone else. possible by the name chaemo. even mate. hahaha. the straighter1 is a carey bloke

The Gamebreaker as we know him will soon forfeit his title as the real gamebreaker is returning. Sorry Macdaddy.

James Betts oviously is the goods but what about that guy starting after xmas with an aps school (dont know which one yet although I know it is not Caulfield Grammar)All I know is that his nickname is MAD DOG and at the ripe old age of 15 he made the NSW u/17 city squad and is a rhb and an offspin bowler .Heard this year he got 6f30 and 6f54 on the same day inGPS cricket in Sydney!!! Played for Gps in the Lord Tavernors and apparently this wonder kid can play AFL as well? No such thing as a good footballer coming out of a GPS school.Anyone help me out here or am I being fed a load of bull?????|@

Re: James Bett (MGS)

Bettsy is a top bloke and all, but even though he's been selected in so many rep teams and had such big praises heaped upon him, he still hasn't proven himself on the big stage.

Am i right?

How many scalps has he got so far?

got 0-50 against skevs. and 3for against geelong grammar then MGS had a bye.

while being clearly extroverted and slightly out there. He is passionate about cricket and is a keen thinker about the game - some may say too keen. I have no opinion

However when you are in he is not a handful. It is early on with his subtle variations that you struggle, but like most off spinners - you can score of them. While a legspinner like Parker gives you balls to hit, they also have wicket balls - bett doesnt particularly have a great wicket ball and that is his weakness.

An offspinner like M.Wilson can also move the ball in the air especially.

'team morale +3'

Passionate, keen thinker, extroverted, and slightly out there in my opinion all add up to the makings of a champion . In fact even over confident and cocky are needed to the makings of the best.

Re: James Bett (MGS)

Re: James Bett (MGS)

its fair to say that although bettsy is a gun bowler it was clearly him who started this promotional propoganda.
