Plenty of good players can get a duck - what does that prove? He got picked for Vic Under 17 so is by definition a top player. Put your Under 17 record up for us to see so we can see if he matches you. My bet is that he would get you within 6 balls.

maybe my original quote came out wrong, i thing bettsy is a class player, no evoiding it, it takes an absolute gun to make the state team bottom age, i just think he is arrogant and out of form

mate you are an absolute joke! Bettsy is a bowler, didnt bat in the state team. He is the best spin bolwer in the APS, and the only reason why he batted at 3 on the weekend was so that richo thomas could bat at 6 instead of 3... a move well justified with a match-winning 90. Who cares if bettsy made a duck, he took 3 wickets on a medium-pacer's track and rich made 90... and mgs won

Are u a joke or what mate???????
Last year he almost single-handedly beat Haileybury making 100
This year he made 100no to guide mgs to victory in a praccy; about 130no against skevs to single-handedly win the game (chasing about 250); and 100 against wesley.
Last weekend was his first failure for the season

I think we'll excuse shaw for making a duck if he continues making tons. He would clearly have the best average (over 100) in the aps even having made a golden. Two aps tons in yr 11 and now two in yr twelve with another five games to go... this clearly doesn't mean he crumbles under pressure you dumb$#@% LE blank.
Bettsy is a top bowler. He would have now taken about 12-14 wickets so far in 5 matches, whilst also creating many wickets are the other end and also run-outs. Beware - bettsy now has a mean doosra which is impossible to pick. Bowled it in tri-grammar and got 2 wickets. Yet to use it in aps but rumour has it he is bringing it out this weekend

Betts is a good guy, but took until this year to take his first ever 5fa for the school since he joined in year 7. Apparently there is two other Dowling players who also bowl left arm offspin at MGS, feel sorry for them. When I faced him last year he was amazingly accurate and some ok turn but abit predictable with his variations.skin&bones;197418 said:
