well at least in AFL your not gonna be smashed in the first place.
and the crowds are bigger up here. but its the grounds. you can watch AFL in the MCG, league takes a different ground with which there arent the sizes of stadiums.

rugby is the tougher game, no doubting that, but different courage is needed for Aussie rules, you can get hit without the ball, backing back into packs isnt fun for anyone unless your mad, a guy lost a kidney not all that long ago playing for geelong, gut busting running is a form of courage a rugby player wouldnt know much about, they are trying to turn it into netball now days though.

the thing is i like AFL too.
just because where i come from makes the difference. AFL is a game of craziness where you cant follow where the ball is or whats happening next. just a bunch of people running everywhere.
but it doesnt mean its a bad game.

it just depends on which state your from, the AFL are launching a new west sydney team in a couple of years as well, i dont like their chances on that.

exactly. whatever your parents grew up watching your gonna watch too.
but anyways neither of those games compare to cricket. i dont even follow league that much. play occasionally and smash a few people but thats it. cricket all the way.

i love my footy, they should make em play all year round i reckon, i love test match cricket as well, but with footy i can watch any team play, with cricket i can only watch Australia with any interest.

im the only person i know who watches or at least fanatically chases scorecards of every single game that is on that includes australia. and then i reflect of scorecards of other countries so im kept up to date.
i cant go without knowing the score for too long. i mean i even got out of bed with my girlfriend one rowdy night to check the score.
